Hunter X Hunter Symbols Novels & Stories

said Johan. “But isn’t that black skinned boy a Morel?” Mordecai said, “A Morel is of noble blood as well.” “How did you know he’s a Morel?” Johan asked suspiciously. “We saw his signet ring,” Xander answered him. He pointed to his left chest where a pin held his cloak. It was in the image of a sun. “The Alcion family uses the sun. The Morels use a black hole with an eye in the middle.” he explained. “Our families symbolize both light and darkness, respectively, for one reflects the other.”

"Armed with silver weapons, spelled ammunition, containment nets. They came prepared for a Spirit Wolf hunt specifically." "How do you know that?" Caden demanded. Fendric gestured toward one of the windows where we could see the hunters' positions more clearly now that daylight was strengthening. "Those symbols on their armor. They're ancient wards designed to weaken Spirit Wolf magic. Haven't been used in centuries because everyone thought the bloodline was extinct." I moved closer to the window despite Ryker's hand on my arm trying to hold me back. The symbols Fendric mentioned were visible now, glowing faintly on the hunters' chest plates. They looked like twisted versions of pack bonds,

"Look at the precision. This wasn't a blade. This was... was… burnt into him. The flesh is vitrified." I leaned forward, my heart hammering against my ribs like a trapped bird. I shifted my angle behind the fern, squinting through the uneven torchlight to see what the Sentinel was pointing at. The breath caught in my throat. My vision blurred, a sudden wave of vertigo nearly dropping me to my knees. Carved deep into the center of Master Harrison’s pale, bloodless chest was a symbol. A perfect, clean crescent moon, split down the center by a jagged vertical spike, its base surrounded by three concentric, broken rings.

The shift in her eyes. Small. But real. The shadows hesitate. Just for a second. That is all I need. “Close it,” I say. The scarred Hunter moves. Fast. Too fast. He is not running away. He is running toward her. Toward the center. He pulls something from inside his jacket. Not a weapon. A blade. Black metal. Covered in symbols. I recognize it instantly. Old magic. Forbidden. “Rissa,” I shout. She turns toward him.

"What do the symbols look like?" Elijah's pulse spiked. "Why?" "Just tell me." Elijah described them as best he could. Geometric and organic. Sharp and flowing. Overlapping in patterns that made his wolf uneasy. Jaxon opened the notebook and flipped through several pages. He stopped on one and turned it toward Elijah. The symbols matched. Elijah's breath left him in a rush. "How—" "I do not know." Jaxon's voice was tight. "I have been drawing these for weeks. I have never seen them anywhere else. How are you dreaming them?"

I said honestly, "I have no idea, Allen. I have a bad feeling about this." I swerved my attention to Jax, who was beside one of the dead wolves. "You need to see this," Jax said, and I went to him. "What is it, Jax?" "Here." He pointed to the symbol on the wolf's body, and immediately, my eyes flared up and my body stiffened. "They all have the same symbol." Allen looked over the body of the dead wolf. I still haven't recovered yet. It's been over a decade since I saw that symbol. My father had one just like that.

Then, Xylon's eyes flew open, revealing a bizarre black symbol swirling in his gaze. Tyrone and Ray followed suit, their eyes mirroring the same eerie design. "My loves! What's happening? Don't frighten me!" Tears streamed down my face as I clutched them close, dabbing their skin with a damp cloth in vain. Their condition remained unchanged. Suddenly, the door burst open. Ethan marched in, his expression turning grave at the sight of the children. "Step aside." He shrugged off his coat and unbuttoned his shirt, revealing a chest marked with the same cryptic symbol as the kids.

The scent of blood magic and rot hit me and underneath it all was a familiar stench that made my wolf snarl with rage. "Hunter." I said, the name tasting like poison. "That fucking coward," Sylvia hissed. "He came back?" We found him in the main chamber of my tower, surrounded by shattered glass from the window he had broken through. Dark symbols glowed on his skin, pulsing with sickly green light. In his hands he held what looked like bones carved with runes, and the air around him shimmered with magic that made my wolf recoil. "Hello, bitch," Hunter said, grinning at Sylvia with blood-stained teeth. "Miss me?"

And if she’s right, then this goes deeper than any of us thought. I shift slightly on the bench, watching Hazel with quiet focus as the breeze stirs the edges of her coat. She hasn’t run yet. That’s something. “There’s something else,” I say, voice even but laced with the urgency I can’t hide anymore. “After each attack, every single one, we’ve found symbols. Burned into the ground. Etched into trees. Drawn in ash and blood. We’ve documented them all, but none of us know what they mean. Not even the elders. That’s why we’ve wanted a witch’s input from the start.”

He's out for blood. "For the longest time I didn't know why they decided to brand me with that symbol. It was strange and made no sense. I researched it, and it said it was the symbol for Hydra. I guess they chose that, because that is the embodiment of Craig and Gary. No matter how much you think they're gone, they always come back." I say, lowering my voice as I glance worriedly over to Xavier. "Major?" I partially whisper. Not knowing whether I should say anything or not.
