She took a few shots of what happened and stood there watching with a slow surge of panic that slowly built up in her body. Just as she was there staring at the scene, the sharp eyes of the Z clan men went in the direction where Thyra stood on the cliff. Thyra noticed this too but didn't falter her gaze as it looked as if they were engaged in an eye battle. One of the Z clan men muttered to his colleagues, "She is going to be the first hunt of Alpha Ryker." On hearing this, Alpha Ryker's eyes quickly spun in the direction where the Z clan men stared with a glare so ferocious that if it were possible, Thyra would have fallen dead immediately. "She is gone. They took her." I stood up from my chair so fast that the heavy wooden seat fell backward onto the stone floor with a loud crash. The entire hall went completely silent. The music stopped playing, and every lord turned to look at the royal table. "Who is gone?" I demanded. "Adeline," Malcolm whispered, looking up at me with terror in his eyes. "Alpha Hilton and his trackers left the castle gates ten minutes ago through the side exits. They found out she was trying to escape, and they are hunting her down right now. They took their hunting hounds and their weapons."

“Yep,” Mane could finally reply to Hildegarde’s comments now that there was no one around. “Wait a minute,” Mane suddenly exclaimed and startled Hildegarde, who almost fell off his shoulder due to his sudden action. “What,” Hildegarde sounded irritated? She flew above Mane with a look of annoyance on her face, obviously from the fact that Mane had robbed her of her favorite ‘couch’. “He said we’d go hunting tomorrow. I was just thinking that it would be a shame to miss a hunt because of that meeting” Mane looked apologetic seeing Hildegarde’s dissatisfied expression. It wasn’t his intention to shrug her off his shoulder.

He will find out where she lives and then will come for me. Abby kisses me on the cheek, reassuring me that she will sort it out. She was forever fixing my problems. Making unwanted things go away. I still didn’t know how she did it. All I knew is that she wasn’t human and she wasn’t a wolf. Her car speeds down the driveway and I wait until I can no longer hear the engine. Grabbing my dagger, I pull my coat up around me, hiding the dagger in the inner pocket. I wasn’t going after Abby, that would be stupid. I was heading to the place where those girls were killed.

I make a mad dash for her, quickly pulling a pistol out of my holster– aiming straight for the chief. BANG! BANG! Two thunderous gunshots ring in the air, for some reason, sounding heavier than the fighting in the background. But wait, my finger is still resting on the trigger… I didn’t fire those two rounds… My eyes widen in realization, my mouth dropping open as an agonized scream rips from my throat. I watch helplessly as Adeline stumbles and falls to the ground.

I tried to get out of their grip but I wasn't strong enough to get out of them. Not far away, I saw Adeline being held by one of the creatures while the one behind her was a dominant creature holding a pointed sword, and I saw Adeline's weak appearance, she had many wounds on her face as well on her arm, when I saw her I was very indignant at that time and tried to get away from them, but no matter what I did I couldn't get off. Until Adeline glared into my eyes as if signalling that I should stop what I was doing and gave me a glum smile as if she was saying goodbye to me with tears falling from her eyes. 'This can't be possible, she can't be gone, she promised me she wouldn't leave me.'

I took a seat next to Joy and listened to their conversation while focusing on my food. “Do hunters live in caves?” she asked. Atalanta shook her head, “no, in houses.” “Do hunters hunt their own food, or just wolves? Do they eat the wolves?” Atalanta almost choked on her food, “we keep animals, like chickens, and we hunt for deer. Hunters see werewolves as abominations, so they will not eat them. I honestly mostly got scrapes to eat and usually there wasn’t much meat left over.” “Abominations?!” Joy had said, clearly feeling insulted.

The sooner he and his pack are out of our lives the better. With Dylan's help, our search intensified. We tracked Adeline's movements across the territory, following her trail with Calliope's help and gathered useful pieces of information from our informants. Days turned in a week but things were starting to look up. Finally, after what felt like an eternity, we cornered Adeline in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of waterside pack lands, She fought back with all her might, but our pack was too strong. We subdued her and brought her back to our territory with the help of Dylan, we placed her in our dungeons with 2 guards down there.

She said, trying to remember the vague of memory, “I'm hunting-” “The hell misty!” “My lady should let me finish my words please?” She giggled, kinda amuse. “And what's wrong hunting if it's for the love of my life?” “How can hunting be related to love, Misty?” My mind spun to the idea, given a destructive results if relates the act to love.
