Marvin I crouched low, my heart fractured in ways I didn’t know a heart could break. The past twenty-four hours had been nothing but raw, vicious, unrelenting torment. Hurt. Grief. Rage. Sorrow, wrapped around my ribs so tightly I barely remembered what it felt like to stand upright, let alone breathe without pain as I watched the very source of it all.

“Each smile that you make, touches my heart The thoughts of you linger in me, As I close my eyes because I don’t want to see you go Asking myself, How can you hurt me so? If my mother was alive I might share some with her, maybe even write her one like I do whenever the pain of her loss is too much to bear. I write for a while losing track of time as I place my pain and frustration into words then something on the breeze reminds me of someone else and the poems take a different turn. In my darkest hour Thoughts of her sear my brain Burning desire all but consumes me Her touch is all that could ease my pain Eyes like pools that I want to drown in The stars above have nothing on her She’s the beauty that I Admire from afar I long to hold her and make her mine

I tried to touch his cheek but he slapped my hand away making me tear up. He placed my hand on his heart "Do you know how much hurt you have caused this?" he pointed to his heart. He chuckled "Of course you wouldn't know as you are too busy letting other men in between your legs" he spat with disgust. I stood there too shocked to say anything.

So I decided to focus on writing the poem which I imagined so I won't forget when he ask me ! What you have done to me It's not me I'm sure it's not me You're not a perfect match for me you're bad and cruel But who knows you're the most pain baring person Your pain is vulnerable Your pain is invisible You're not the person whom you're portraying to the world You're a kid craving true love to mend your heart I will be your guardian angel in your life of hell I will be light to your dark soul I will mend your heart with a ray of hope called love

Each tear that fell felt like a dagger to my heart, a painful reminder of my helplessness in the face of their relentless assault. But still, they showed no mercy, their laughter growing louder and more derisive with each passing moment. They revealed in my suffering, feeding off my pain like wolves to a wounded prey, their mocking voices echoing off the walls of the hall. I felt myself crumbling beneath the weight of their scorn, my spirit battered and bruised, but still defiant in the face of their cruelty. Though my body lay prone upon the ground, my resolve remained unbroken, a flickering flame of defiance amidst the darkness that threatened to engulf me.

Each raindrop feels like icy needles against my skin, amplifying the discomfort of my injuries. As I lie there, dazed and disoriented, a wave of agony washes over me, engulfing me in a sea of torment. My head throbs with a pulsating ache, and every breath I take feels like shards of glass piercing my lungs. The rain beats down on my battered form, mingling with the blood that trickles from countless unseen wounds.

His touches that drives me foolishly. Where is all that Lucas? Has it disappeared like a bubble? Why can't I feel it? My heart is as cold as an ice flake. I need your hugs! But I can't seem to caress your face anymore? Are you going to leave me forever Lucas? Oh my dear Lucas! Because your love hurts me! You left my heart wounded! I gently rubbed my face! My tears just kept falling awfully. Is there no end to my crying? The anguish of my heart? I feel like being stabbed with a knife! My heart is bleeding profusely!

My throat tightens with a painful sensation and suddenly, it feels like I’m about to tear out of my own skin. “Do you really think I’d hurt you?” I whisper, my voice laced with hurt and white-hot rage. Amani lifts her head and the sight of her eyes, huge and filled with tears, is like a sharp blade through my heart. “They hurt me and so can you!” She cries bitterly. “All of you are the same. All you ever do is hurt me!” My heart breaks then. It literally shatters. “Amani, no. Baby, I would never…”
