I tell him. “Baby,” I choke. “One of your baby brothers isn’t breathing?” He questions. I hear his voice breaking as he shouts at Fox in French. “Weston, I need you to follow my instructions.” I hear the clinical voice of Fox say over the phone. “I’m sending the other boys your way now with supplies. Listen to me carefully.” I do too.

"Because you're my mate!" Lucas roared in a deep, frightening voice. It wasn't a human voice. It was something wilder, more savage, like the one you hear in a horror film when a mastermind monster or beast decided to break the silence and start to talk in a deep, metallic, synthetic voice. It was a voice that belonged to a large, dark, furry animal. It was the voice of a wolf.

My throat suddenly dried up, and I gulped every bit of saliva I could gather. “Is there a problem?” His husky voice wafted into my ears, causing me to shake out of my reverie. A husky voice was supposed to be rough, right? How could it be monotonous in my ears? How could it be sweet and rhythmic in my ears? “Eh…?” I spurted out. “Ah! Yeah! I’m fine,” I responded, wiping the little drool at the corner of my lips. Such a loose, flexible fool I was. I couldn’t even stop myself from drooling.

He said rubbing one of the puppy’s head. We know they will have a great home with you, and they’ll get to travel the world. Sandy chirped. What breed are they? How old are they? I asked. They are huskies, and they are three months old and are current on their shots, the vet even gave them a clean bill of health and travel certificate. Jason said with a smile. You know just in case anyone wanted to travel with them. He grinned. The little sneaks, they knew what they were doing. The puppies were sitting next to me when they lifted their heads and their ears pinned back to their little heads and started growling. I chuckled and looked up to see Damien walking towards us. Who do we have here?

"Mr. Walker, why did you get out of the car?" Luke released my shoulder and explained, "Goofy has diarrhea. I'm buying medicine for him." "Who's Goofy?" I asked, confused. Luke lived alone, so this name came out of nowhere. "He's the Husky. You've met him before." "Oh, he's a pet. If he has diarrhea, you should take him to a vet for medicine." Goofy, goofball... Luke's name choice fit the Husky's character perfectly. "There's a pet hospital nearby that's open late. We could check it out."

His cat-like face was a cherry on top because as he was famous for being similar to a cat, his behavior was similar to a cat. Some said that if they put this man and the cat next to each other, they would never see any differences. (Ha ha ha. Lock on!) Again, the voice filled in the earpiece. (Are you done, Sweetie?) Captain interjected the moment the voice spoke another aside of their never-ending laughter. (Yes, Captain. Waiting for your command.) The husky voice – contradicting his code name – shifted to serious. A small sound of scrap metal ghostly echoed in the background. Seemed like he was adjusting his body to find a better view.
