I didn't get the time to bite my tongue as the husky stopped near our feet and wagged his tail. "He's Master Cordiero's recently adopted son." Oh, so he belongs to Mr. Mafia King. I couldn't contain myself and lowered on my knees on the smooth like silk rug. Taking a cookie, I hopefully forwarded it towards the husky. First he sniffed at it, then he looked up at me, he barked once as if asking who I was— an intruder in his house, before digging in his barely-there canines into the baked sweetness.
