I had been thirteen, sitting at the kitchen table while she braided my hair, when her hands went still and she was quiet for a moment in the way she got when she was choosing her words carefully. Looking up at me he sighed as another soft sheepish smile spread across his face, “You’re virginity is the fascination Laya, I think if I mate with you he’ll back off,” “Mate with me?” nodding he smirked, “Laya do you have any real idea what a hybrid is?” swallowing hard she looked down.
