Lycan King's Hybrid Captive

Lycan King's Hybrid Captive

My boots were caked in mud by midday, and each night I was forced to make camp beneath trees whose branches creaked like they whispered secrets I wasn’t meant to hear. On the fourth day, I encountered a pack of feral creatures, not wolves, not quite human, but something else entirely. Hybrids, perhaps. They stalked me at dusk, yellow eyes gleaming just beyond the brush. I made myself appear small, unthreatening. But the moment one lunged, my body reacted faster than my mind. Light erupted from my palm in a blinding arc. The creature screamed, a high-pitched, inhuman sound and collapsed into ash.

Hunter and the Hybrid princess

Hunter and the Hybrid princess

he told her, but as one weed is ripped from the soil, so it only makes space for another to grow. A year of being together they bared a child, and ten years later, there he sat teaching his son how to be what he was, that day was just as any other, Hector would teach him in depth... To many the word 'Fay' means faerie, a being of light, some say its a mischievous thing that always fools travelers and steals trinkets and clothing. But in reality Fay were also not to be trifled with, especially the type Kaylee was, Arch-fay, warriors in their own right the closest resemblance humans have for them is paladins, warriors of light.

TYRANT HYBRID

TYRANT HYBRID

it started to ring a bell in his head. Without thinking much, he turned to where Rocky was standing and was surprised not to see him there anymore. "He was just here a moment ago!" Jaden turned to look around in amazement while searching for him... James was as confused as they are, as he was still processing the words of the seer. It sounds strange to him because Hybrid doesn't exist anymore. The one he remembers vividly was the only one his grandfather Herbert, told him about, and the Hybrid is dead for decades now. So he kept wondering what the prophecy meant.

Protected by the Devil

Protected by the Devil

The savage looked like me, wearing that pink and still wet dress, in front of a crowd of people who were part of that party that seemed to last for hours and days. The members of the kingdom of Hyenna were by far the most bizarre I have encountered until that moment. Creatures with a single horn on their foreheads, with pale skins that almost reached the shade of alabaster, and the eyes... All of them, without exception, contained five eyes on thin noses and wide mouths. Bizarre creatures originated from some very old legend about demons.

The Warrior Princess Alpha's Betrayal

The Warrior Princess Alpha's Betrayal

ALPHA TAHIRA CHAPTER 99 AIDEN'S POV. It was hard to concentrate as my gaze was fixed on Tahira, she was acting on the blood rage. Luckily for us, this creature hasn't trespassed the gate so we just went out to attack them. These were not invisible Gars or any sort of unseen creatures. These were large and ugly Hydes with big eyes to devour anyone's soul. They were scary as fuck and any mistake to trespass past the gates line, my family is doomed.

Creatures of THE Night

Creatures of THE Night

"Makes his swole head look like it's covered in sesame seeds." "You're trying to kill me to get my shift with Sunday-Mondays off," I accused, "it's not going to work!" "And you still haven't told me what the secret was! Don't act like I can't see you deflecting! Dodging the question!" Fuck. "Did you know that dullahans have literal nightmares as steeds? As in the levitating spectral demon horses usually only commanded by the King of Dreams?"

Offered to the Triplet Alphas

Keeping my eyes fixed on his eyes, I began. “The continuation from page sixty-eight last line: The hermic phosphorus is found in the water dragon hydra’s blood. It is mainly present in their RNA and keeps changing like a virus, thus making the ingestion of their blood carcinogenic for the immortals. Its use is still being researched upon and tested. But this phenomenon doesn’t occur when hydra grants its blood on its will. In this case, its blood acts like a medicine, slowing down the decline of an immortal…” “Page 34.”

Like the previous books by this author, this book is also very interesting and different from what I have read. I look forward to each new chapter. I'm very picky about the books I read. Your books seem to be exactly for me. I hope there will be many more exciting and interesting stories.

I'm absolutely in love with this novel! It was my first read on this app and I truly adore it. The story is amazing, your writing is consistently mindblowing. While updates may be slow, I believe this novel absolutely worth the wait. Please take time you need; the results always speak for themselves

Little Sister

Little Sister

“Stand still.” She pressed into the wall, hoping the creature would overlook them. Immature hydras were notoriously stupid, but once grown to a full size, they were more dangerous than just about any other kind of the Enemy. Hydras could not be killed except by fire. Cutting off their heads only multiplied them indefinitely. The creature flowed by them and disappeared into the open doorway. Svetlana and Andrei rushed up the stairs.

The Arena

The battle is fierce. I know this is Troy, even though I haven’t seen him. These creatures, there isn’t another word for them, aren’t natural. He’s created weird hybrids. No, these are mutants. My children are hybrids, this is something else entirely. It’s almost as if he tried to recreate mythological creatures but fell short. There’s a three-headed dog, or wolf, I’m not sure, a lion with bat wings and what looks like an attempt to recreate a dragon but in a smaller, much less beautiful creature.

I have read this and the other 3 so far. I am on Anacalgons story. These books are unlike anything I've read before. The way she blends all of the books creating one story within 5 books. Having the different points of views has been a new experience for me. Very well done author ............

Dark Dragon

Dark Dragon

No, it couldn’t be… The large beast flapped its serpentine wings above her head as it came in for a landing. It’s scales took on the color of honey, shining like mirrors in the sun, and it landed with the grace of a blue heron, as it’s onyx talons clacked against the concrete patio. Madchen gasped as the beast shook it’s shiny scales, and sitting atop its head were two beautiful black horns. Ruby eyes blinked in the morning mist, eyes that looked vaguely familiar to her.

I love this book! The story is very captivating! My only complaint is that some chapters are repeated and some excerpts of chapters are repeated, causing you to pay more than what is worth. But that isn't on the author and should be fixed by Good Novel.

I gotta give the author mad props. I mean I’m flying through this book like mad. I know the story is ongoing but come on board. So find a comfortable spot and your favorite drink and get lost in this. Oh don’t forget your blanket my house is cold. They have the air WAY TO LOW

Frequently Asked Questions

The most pervasive myth, I'd argue, is that you have to cut off all the heads at once or they just regrow infinitely. That's not actually the case in a lot of the oldest sources. The Hercules myth is the one that cemented that idea, obviously, but earlier versions just have it as a monstrous serpent guarding a sacred spring. The 'regeneration' aspect was almost secondary. The symbolic weight—the idea of a problem that multiplies when you attack it—is what really captured the modern imagination, far more than the literal creature.

Another huge misconception is about the 'immortal' head. People often think one head is unkillable, period. But the story usually goes that after cauterizing the necks, Hercules buried the final head under a rock. It wasn't inherently immortal; it was just persistent and needed a different solution than brute force. We've sort of smoothed that nuance out into a simpler 'one head can't die' rule, which misses the cleverness of the mythic problem-solving.

And honestly, we forget it's a water creature. It's the Lernean Hydra, from the swamps of Lerna. That setting matters. It's not just a random desert monster; its aquatic, chthonic nature ties it to primordial chaos and the underworld. Reducing it to just a 'multi-headed dragon' in fantasy RPGs strips away that essential, muddy, unsettling context. It was a guardian of a passage to the underworld, not a dungeon boss waiting for loot drops.
