She stood up and bowed her head slightly when I closed the door behind me, frowning slightly because she was alone. “Where’s your friend?” I asked her. “She’s afraid Lucas, but she sent me something to show you, after you’ve watched it I can take you to see her,” Tessa said and I nodded. Tessa rifled in her bag and produced a USB stick and handed it to me. I inserted it into my laptop and clicked on the icon when it appeared in the file. It was a video and took a moment to load. I didn’t acknowledge the footsteps that went past my office as Tessa stood next to where I sat.

She knelt down and felt my left lower leg, but I had no idea why. “This is my favorite instrument. It’s called a shatter stick. And I’m going to show you why it’s called that.” She exclaimed happily. I braced myself as she pulled back and then hit my lower leg as hard as she could. I shrieked from the agony. She reached down and squeezed the meat and said, “Nope, not broken. I think one more should do it!” She swung back hit the same spot and I could feel the bones snap against the force. She laughed lightly like this was a game.

I was well and truly stuck. I was screwed. So, so screwed.

I took a fighting stance, finally deciding to use my fighting skills on them. “Fight!” The voice in me pressured me, and I did as they said. I stroke my stick at them, feeling a burning sensation in me, but it wasn’t that of sex, it was that of pure anger as I felt power radiating through my body. I aimed for their stomachs, digging the stick deep, and in no time they all fell down dead. I stared at their dead corpse, feeling surprised that I just took down these creatures. I dumped the stick and resumed running.
