I Am Hollywood Novels & Stories

I didn't even regret not knowing someone as rude as her. “She's one of the most paid and richest actresses in the US, Ariadne Stathom,” Henry said. “Oh,” Was all I could say as someone rushed to her for an autograph. “Jeremy, I'm leaving, tell that to Davies and meet me in the car.” She paraded out of the set. I thought Jeremy, the one dressed as a drag queen, was some sort of secretary or Personal Assistant. “Do they often shoot movies here?” I asked. “Yeah, and you might even have the opportunity to watch the entire movie live.” He chuckled.

But I was still here, still holding onto my job by a thread, and I wasn't about to let go. "Why not?" I said. "Women can seduce men into doing all sorts of things. And it's not like I'm trying to get him to give up national security secrets or something." The more I spoke, though, the more I realized exactly how absurd all of this sounded. As I mentioned before, I'm not a troll, but I'm also not exactly movie-star gorgeous, either. I like my smile. And sometimes people will compliment me on my thick hair (a gift from my Greek heritage on my mom's side). I'm that girl who glides through life without most people noticing her one way or the other. I don't get catcalled walking down the street -

I asked. "I called them, but they're all busy," Eva replied, deflated. "Well, can't you ask someone else to go? It's not like you're short on friends. You have plenty of buddies from work," I suggested, my voice taking on a frustrated tone. Eva is a famous actress and a permanent fixture in the glittering landscape of Hollywood. When she visits New York, she crashes with me to get a break from the spotlight. But even here, the constant thrum of paparazzi makes it difficult to lead a normal life.

Amina's POV So many voices yelled my name as I walked down the carpet. "Amina! Amina look over here!" reported shouted. I stopped and posed a few times looking at the crowd of flashing lights. Tonight was the premier of my most recent movie, Where His Heart Is. It was a romantic comedy where my character was stuck working with her competitor at work. They end up falling for each other and blah blah blah. I smiled and waved at the cameras snapping away before moving on. Then I reached an entertainment channel's correspondent and stopped for an interview.

Jacob shrugged throwing a hand round my neck " Hey , just because we started off the wrong way, you don't have to act like this . You know what ; Bells , I have tickets to a new movie , wanna go and see ? " " say what ?" I demanded my eyes wide. " Movie and me , A good deal right?" He speaks with so much innocence that I'm thrown off my loop . What is this- " Are you off you your meds ?" I ask with with a deceptively sweet voice . He shook his head at me , his gaze dropping at my face " c'mon bells its just a movie " " is this another one of your dare ?" I narrowed my eyes and looked around him , unlike the last time he was alone but I wasn't sure .

I said, trying to start a conversation. "A lot," she laughed. * * * "Clarison is a beautiful name" I smiled. "I know," she laughed. "So, why don't we go to a hotel and you know" I licked my lips. "I get what you are saying. Let's go already" she said as she stood up, wiggling her hips as she walked. * * * Clarison Mitchell 'This man is even easier to fool than I thought' I smiled at him as we entered the room.

he asks. “Oh, I’m sorry. I'm just passing through. I'm a photographer, and I saw this old barn and decided to stop and snap a few pictures.” I explain. “Well, ain’t that something. Jeff, she is a photographer, she just saw this old barn and decided to stop and snap some pictures.” He says licking his chops at me like I am a t-bone steak. “Ugh, gross. Hannah, that guy is creepy.” I hear Lily chime in. “Yep” I respond as I continue to snap pictures. Jeff comes through the door and it's his turn to devour me with his creepy eyes.

Now I will be given to the man known as The Heartless Beta. We walk into what looks like a gentleman’s club of some sort, but a rather fancy looking one. They don’t have these back home - the Las Vegas strip is coated in sleaze. I can actually picture myself having a drink in here without feeling uncomfortable; I have to give them props for interior decorating.

She dialed a number she knew off head and called. "It takes great talent and skill to veil great talent and skill. Little Lotus, how is the brighter side of the world?" A crooked old female voice answered the phone. "Only psychopaths and manipulators can achieve hiding their talents and skills Elder Hoshi. Everything is going as planned thank you for asking. Oh, but a Hian Ji attacked me at my home and knows everything about me. I thought I died and my existence was erased with you and the other Elders' help. What's going on?"

Shayna exclaims accidentally spilling juice on my feet. “Shayna, soon ants are gonna be crawling all over me,” I said wiping my feet with a swimming towel. “Sorry.” “Wait, do you know them?” may and I ask together. “Is that even supposed to be a question, of course I know them.” “Never heard of them,” May says and I nod. “Neither did I before going. Shayna, how do you know them?” I ask her. “How do you not know them? Most of them are wives of the richest men in Hollywood, even Ellen Kardashian is a member. I know them because I live for Hollywood drama. They are very classy people and they don’t make just anybody a member.
