Gasping for breath, I curled into myself, the intense pain engulfing every inch of my body like a merciless wildfire. "What the heck—? Ugh!" I groaned, my voice strained with the pain that gripped me. My muscles tensed, my skin prickling as if with needles. The torment was beyond anything I had ever experienced. I tried to focus on anything but the searing pain, thinking back to Rhea’s memories to find the origins of this pain. But I failed. I couldn't even think. The pain was too much! 'What's happening?' I wondered, concern tingeing my thoughts. 'Is this what Rhea experience everyday? Is she having a stroke?'

GIOVANNI'S POV I know what I am doing is not considered good from other's perspectives but I can't forgive the person who is the reason behind my pain. Downloading a movie and when there’s just 3 percent remaining to be downloaded, your internet connection disconnected or the pain when your family goes on a trip without you because you committed an offense. Those are all types of pain, but have you felt the type of pain when you are so hopeless and you feel the world has turned against you? The one when you're loved one’s turn their back against you and ignore you? While the doctor did his best to shield me from the chaos, my vision began to blur. The flashes and the noise had become overwhelming, and I closed my eyes. My bittersweet life was coming to an end. I had suffered through most of it, but Lumi was my only source of joy. In my haze, I thought I heard her calling for me. I smiled. Just before I slipped away completely, Anna's response came through. "Alright." That was enough for me. After all, my only wish had always been for Lumi to live the best life possible.
