I Killed The Player Of The Academy Novel Novels & Stories

"Your life will never be normal again." I froze. The atmosphere suddenly felt cold. The wind from outside gently blows through the kitchen window. And for some reason, a strange feeling arises in my chest again. As if something deep within me is awakening. My uncle finally left a few minutes later. I stood by the window watching him walk toward the forest alone. And again, without a trace of fear. The house felt much quieter after I immediately froze. My reflection in the window slowly lifted its head. And his eyes… Silver.

They killed him, not me. I saw everything in my head and I was right. They made me kill Izaac, their friend. Ambrose planned it all, including Gideon and Daniel. Izaac died and it was all part of his plan to conquer the throne. Fucking greedy bastard! My jaw clenched, “I will kill them all.” I said with balled fists. I will kill them all for making me look like a fool. I was actually worried to think I killed Izaac. They played with me and they must have laughed so hard behind my back thinking I was stupid.

"You see what you are to every single student in this academy? You’re a discard able play thing. A piece of meat they want to break for fun. You won’t last a day, not to talk of a semester without protection. Do you understand that?" I immediately nodded because my throat was too tight for words. But he was right. I had been foolish and naïve to think that I could ever survive this hell hole by staying invisible. If nothing changed my circumstance… then I would die here. That fact was for sure. Hot tears of fear stung my eyes but I forcefully held them back.

He walked forward and carefully took her from Marko’s arms himself as though afraid she would break. “Go get Rowan,” he ordered quietly. “He’s in my room,” Marko replied immediately. Then he vanished at full speed. The surviving students remained silent. None dared speak. Draven slowly turned toward the ruined academy surrounding them. Fire burned in the distance. Buildings collapsed. Bodies littered the ground. Ashbourne Academy— Was finished. “From this moment onward,” Draven said calmly, his voice carrying across the silent grounds, “Ashbourne Academy no longer exists.” Silence.

John went and sat down, then raised his legs halfway through the air and this same girl came and went on all fours in front of him and he placed his leg on her back while sipping on a glass of wine. A cold shiver ran down my spine as the realization dawned on me. This was how Ace was supposed to treat me, weird as it is, but he isn't doing it to me, why? He even killed John's pet last term and he just said it like a mere sweet rolling off a kid's tongue? Indeed, lives were nothing in Silverclaw Academy, and maybe if I just heard a bit about the things happening in Silverclaw, I might never have come here, but since I am already here, I couldn't care less but want to play.

Zoe added. Yeah, she was right? But if no vampire could come into the Academy, they could use someone's body and soul. Oh no, if I was right, it only meant that they had used Alex's body and soul. I silently hoped I wasn't right, I wasn't ready to go through all that trauma again. I didn't want to feel left out so I had to contribute something. "Who was killed?" "One of the security guards, he was such a nice man that could never hurt a fly. Who could have done that?"

And as quick as that, he was gone out the door. I hated this shit. Not the shit of killing werewolves, because I enjoyed that, hoping that one day I will kill the one who took my parents. The shit where I have to go to this damn Alpha Academy and pretend I'm some weak human. I'm not weak; I'm one of the best fighters here, if not the best. Frustration hit me so bad that I felt like I would explode. Picking up a hardcover book, I threw it across the room until I heard a loud thwack against the stone wall.

Mine did not. The restraint burned. But there was something strange about the quiet that followed. Without the constant ache of watching him, I had space. Space to think. Space to breathe. Space to remember. My village. The ashes. The screams. The way the sky had glowed red the night it burned. I had never mourned them. From the moment I entered the academy, I had been fighting to survive. To fit in. To avoid humiliation. To stay near Aldric. Grief had been shoved into a dark corner of my chest, sealed away because I could not afford to collapse.

“Your time at Alpha Academy will be over.” My heart sank. “Cassandra, please.” “No.” Her expression remained cold. “It’s time you went back to the pack, I no longer need you in this academy” The words stole the air from my lungs. She turned and started walking away. Without thinking, I hurried after her. “Cassandra, wait.” She stopped but didn’t turn around. “I never wanted to lie to you.” She slowly faced me. “If you really want to don’t want to go back ” Hope flickered inside me. “…then do something for me.”

He pressed two fingers to the kid’s neck, eyes narrowing as he searched for a pulse. “Kael…” Barrett looked up at me, brows furrowed. “I think you killed him.” I scoffed, folding my arms across my chest. “I barely touched him.” “You, barely….” He looked back at Zephyr and shook his head. “You call that barely?” “If a single jab knocked him out, then he was never cut out for this academy,” I said coolly. “I did him a favor.” I didn’t wait for more gasps or accusations. Let them all stew in their shock.
