In The Arms of A God

In The Arms of A God

Sejin sighed, sliding his feet off the bed and fumbles for his slippers. Still, the statement made him smile as he shuffles to the bathroom, grab some stale toast from the kitchen while buttoning his dress shirt, and finally running outside his apartment with keys in hand. He can't let Elizabeth pass his shoot to Keiron, who is Thanatos in the godly realm and his older brother, to just take what's his. He closes the apartment door with a slam, blonde hair bouncing in the air as he dashes towards the parking lot. Completely forgetting about a certain small brown envelope left at the foot of his king sized bed, with a glistening red thread and a letter of a wine god left unread.

THE FORBIDDEN BOND OF FATE

THE FORBIDDEN BOND OF FATE

Without hesitation or doubt. "I don't see the Alpha God of War." Her thumb brushed lightly across Anastasia's knuckles. "I don't see a legacy." A pause… "I don't see expectations." Anastasia frowned slightly. The answer genuinely surprised her. "You don't?" Anana shook her head. "No." Her smile deepened… Not because the question was silly but because she wished Anastasia could see herself the way she did. "I see the little girl who used to bring injured birds into my room because she thought every broken thing deserved help."

Into His Darkness

Into His Darkness

I didn’t bother to switch the lights on. I stretched my hand under the bed, where I put my book. I smiled as I feel the hard binder of the book. I grabbed the book and saw the title. How to summon the gods. “What is that?” Asher asked standing on the gate of the room. He eyed the book suspiciously. His eyes set on the book only. “This will lead us to the person who is responsible for all of this.” I said and put the book in the bag. “There is one more place we have to go.” I said walking past Asher. He followed me.

Hello lovely people! sorry for leaving you all hanging in middle of nowhere. I seriously didn't get time in past month to update for which I am really sorry. I will try to complete the story in this book only. Please be patient with me as I am recently acquainted to college life.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!

The Alpha King's Breeder

The Alpha King's Breeder

“We ran for a full day today, Maddy. The sun never came up.” I swallow hard, remembering the book and what it had said about the war either ushering in the moon again, returning things back to the way they were, or the beginning of an endless night where the old gods reigned. I take a breath and tell Ella everything I learned from the book. She listens without speaking, her eyes locked on everything and nothing at the same time. “So Isaac is meant to end this,” she whispers. “Yeah, that’s what he believes, and unfortunately, after everything that happened, I think so too.”

These books have been my lifeline. I am crushed to reach this point and have to leave this beautifully tragic world and all its perfectly flawed characters. I can't wait for the next update, and honestly hope (though I know it is in vain) we get to follow this family tree for even more generations.

The Assassin and The Alpha

The Assassin and The Alpha

From the moment I decided to start a new life as an assassin, I promised to myself that people will never see me as a pathetic and useless woman I used to be before even I'm already on the point of dying or getting defeated. I may stumble and make mistakes in the future but they will never see me cry no matter what happens. And most importantly, I will never beg for someone's love again. I will never seek for someone's approval to validate my existence. House of Spades gave me what I need during the times I was down and have nothing. It provided me my basic necessities. It provided me all the knowledge one should have to be mentally strong. It taught me all the skills one should learn to be

SUBMITTING TO MY BEST FRIEND'S FIANCÉ

SUBMITTING TO MY BEST FRIEND'S FIANCÉ

- KILLIAN - So many times, I always thought the ones who would cause me pain and problems were my enemies. Those who I’ve brought down and those who want The Iva Empire. I never thought It would be someone I was once acquainted with deeply. I never imagined it to be Asami. And it’s funny because she has done a lot of shit lately, but this. . . My eyes lands on the hospital bed before me housing a patient, . . . this is so extreme.

Nysera the Goddess of Secrets

Nysera the Goddess of Secrets

Nysera: The Goddess of Secrets Volume I - The Forgotten Goddess Chapter 8: Memories That Were Never Mine. The chaos of the courtyard fell away, replaced by the heavy, echoing quiet of the isolation cells where the temple guards had dragged her. The iron door had slammed shut with a deafening, final clang, leaving her in a pitch-black tomb beneath the temple floor. Nysera sat in the dark, her knees pressed tightly against her chest, shivering as the damp chill of the stone seeped through her thin tunic. But the physical cold was nothing compared to the fire in her mind; her soul reeled from the sudden, catastrophic awakening of her true divinity.

Apocalypse Temple: I Rebuilt the Underworld with Incense

Apocalypse Temple: I Rebuilt the Underworld with Incense

Below-Prayer had become the Docket of Unanswered Prayers. The living were not fuel. The dead had standing. The gods had audit dates. Book One of my life, if lives had books, should have ended there. The immediate problem was a dead contract written in loving language. The worse problem was that the refugees were listening. Nobody had the luxury of naming the threat neatly. People argued in fragments, moved furniture, counted children, checked wounds, and made ugly little bargains with their own courage. My power worked best when I slowed down enough to ask who benefited from panic. Ava's worked best when she refused to let panic become policy.

The Twins He Never Knew

The Twins He Never Knew

"She’s not gone. She’s in the Margins. She’s the 'Static' between the pages. But to bring her back... I have to finish the 'Synergy Group'." Kael looked at the boy, and for the first time, the "God of War" felt a profound, crushing shame. "I spent my life fighting for 'Ownership,' Leo. But your mother... she fought for Presence. Don't win this for the Davis name. Win it for the woman who died to make you free." The Siege of the Core The Sub-Plot Archives began to tilt. The "Asylum" world was collapsing because its "Main Character" was missing. The walls of the facility were peeling away, revealing the Infinite Sandbox outside—a chaotic void where unfinished stories and abandoned character

THE ASSASSIN IN HIS BED

THE ASSASSIN IN HIS BED

Easy to destroy. This version? This one made my chest hurt. I didn’t know how to comfort men. That had never been my role. What I knew was how to undo them; how to unravel them with pleasure or end them with death. Those were the only languages I’d ever been taught. And since killing him wasn’t an option right now, I reached for the other weapon in my arsenal.
