I would not let my thoughts stray. “Hey Ghost!” Someone called and I snapped out of my thoughts. Bullet was grinning at me with a cigarette popping out from the corner of his mouth. He had his arms extended as he walked towards me, like he wanted to guve me a hug and he was holding out two shopping bags. “How are you Bull?” “I’m great, Mr Sour pants. It’s pay day what do you think?”

We break away, and I gaze into those gorgeous blue eyes that burn only for me. “I love you, Milena La Croix, with everything I am.” I smile as I hold my hand out and feel Xander place the gun in my hand, still smiling at Zion before I look upwards. A little something I planned. One shot. One chance to get this right. The crowd quietens as I find my target up in the night sky and pull the trigger. One single bullet that hits its target dead on, and then the sky is alight with the glowing explosions that follow, creating the words ‘I LOVE YOU, ZION KING’ in the air before they begin to fade away.

I could see them glinting. One shot. That's all it would take. One silver bullet to Damien's back and he'd go down and I'd be free, right?

Do you understand?” Black Bullet leaned forward, his hands resting on the desk. “I understand. And you… you better make sure I get what I want if things go wrong. I don’t fail. But if anyone tries to interfere, they will regret it.”

"Now we wait for our real target." He stood back and scratched his head with the barrel of the gun. As he raised it, something was odd. Off. The movie scene from her dream played in her mind. Thinking about what the bullet comments said, I gathered that I would be treated as the fake heiress and become the next biggest victim whose identity Casper had stolen. I turned around, picked up the test report, and tore it into tiny pieces before anyone could react.
