I ask. She smiles, and that smile tells me that everything will be all right. The darkness that settled over me an hour ago lifts, and my heart fills with pure love and light. “I am your real mother. You call me The Moon Goddess.” I want to argue with her. There’s no such thing as The Moon Goddess, but it’s kind of hard to deny her existence, because here she is, glowing blue as the day gives way to night. What do I do? Do I bow? Throw myself at her feet?

Noah's wolf said and Moon hauled up instantly turning his back to the lake, buckling up his gear, and running out of the woods only to be welcomed by Mother, Father, Ashton, Noah, James, and some others. Father's eyes had a strange look. Something I never saw. Mother was finding me an alien. Ashton, Noah, and James never moved from their spots. Mother approached Moon slowly, her eyes watering. She found Moon extraordinarily beautiful. I smiled, but how could Moon. He growled, this time warmly. Mother touched Moon's back and he gave in almost instantly. Mother's touch had been stuffed with love, care, warmth, and belongingness. Moon was home. I was home.

Their combined energy sends a euphoric sensation that seeps into the core of my spirit. My mother stands over tall, with her light blonde hair pulled on top of her head, holding her crown with a crescent moon in place. She looks proudly around the room. Her pristine ivory skin appears even lighter from her white empire waist dress adorned with iridescent thread that seems to shift and move as you look at it. Her Mona Lisa smile fills me with a sense of relief.

Continuation of flashback "Moon Goddess!!" I roar with all my strength, my voice echoing off the stone walls. "Please! Answer me!" I wait, hoping for a sign. If she doesn't answer, I’ll take my own life right here. I have nothing to live for. My mother is dead, and my father is a monster I am too weak to kill. The air in the room suddenly thins. A soft, iridescent light begins to glow, and the Moon Goddess appears before me. She looks like the moon itself. Ethereal, glowing, and terrifyingly beautiful.

I kissed on the chin. “No, no, you don’t know me. I am not a mother. I am Venus and this is not my body. If you love this body so much, then tell mother to get it back, but this isn’t me!” she got interrupted in the middle of a sentence by a heavy cough “ It’s OK, don’t stress yourself. I know there is still a little bit of mother in this body and I will not let it go. I asked Moon who was making a video with his phone “It's simple moma, I have promised myself to capture all of our sweet moments together, so I'm recording you, grandma and in the kitchen” “Ohhh are you planning to post that?” “Of course mother, as soon as the vacation is over I'm going to open an I* account, our coach said that everybody should have one” He said happily, I looked at my mum and she gave me a sign not to talk in front of Moon. “Alright baby, do whatever makes you happy” I smiled at him, as I took out the boiled egg and began to peel off their backs while my mum came to help me.

My finger running over the smooth, cold surface of the crescent. “You are my moon and stars. And this shall be a token of my love for you.” Mother smiled gently grasping my chin. I wanted nothing more than to scream and say that I loved her with all my heart. She is the one who inspires to get up every day. I owed her everything. But what I didn’t know that it was a little too late.

Her eyes were silver and she wore a silver dress that shimmered in the blue light. Azura was mesmerized by the woman’s beauty. “Come my child,” the woman spoke, her voice so serene. Azura stepped closer. “I’ve been waiting for you,” the woman said softly. “Why? Who are you?” Azura asked curiously. “I am your mother and mother of all wolves. I am the goddess of the moon. I am Selene,” she replied with an earnest smile. Azura was taken aback at her response. “But what can I do for you?” Azura said confusedly. “My child, you are special. You are my gift to my children.
