**FLASHBACK** me : ok, when iam small I used to face many bullies in my school they used to lock me in the locker and made fun of me I used to cry a lot and asked for help no one helped me during nights I used to suffer from nightmares due to that but no use though I cried whole night no one came near me I used to scream mom ,mom in my sleep but there is no mom dad comes only once to visit when ever he comes he just brings new toys for me that's it and again he will leave one day he bought niha to our home he said that she lost her parents so she lives here I didn't said anything I used to feel pity for her she is also same like me she has no one I gave all my toys to her but never been with

I explain and he nods. "I wouldn't dare hurt Noah, he's the only other boy that likes to watch Spongebob with me." I laugh at his statement and he frowns. "Don't judge, Spongebob is a classic and informative show." He says and I laugh again and he joins in. "I'm Sam Miller by the way. I am beta of this pack." I didn’t have any close friends I could visit, and my phone kept blinking with notifications—more fake news about my wedding. Apparently, some random man had appeared in public, pretending to be my secret lover, and now the media was eating it up. Meanwhile, my name? Completely dragged through the dirt. Smeared like I was some shameless cheat. But whatever. That didn’t bother me. I’d just messed up my eyeliner, thrown on something half-decent, and stepped out of my room—completely forgetting I hadn’t buckled my heel properly. As soon as I moved, my ankle twisted, and I went flying toward the ground.

“To a charity gala.” Nate froze. His grip on the bag tightened. Every drop of blood drained from his face. “Get ready,” she added, already walking to her room. “And don’t forget your mask.” The door slammed behind her. “Charity gala?” he muttered, dread washing over him. “No. No, no, no. It can’t be the same one.” Nate stared after her, wide-eyed. The irony hit him like a brick. He was supposed to be at that same gala tonight - as Nate Harrington, CEO of Harrington Enterprises.
