I moved away, smiling at him sheepishly. “Sorry...” I stated. He avoided my eyes before he averted it back to his computer. He continued the paused game before yawning, and I grabbed that as an excuse that I need to go home right now. “Hey, I think you’re already tired. I’m gonna head home right now,” I stated. He turned his gaze upon me, looking like he doesn’t want me to go yet. But I knew he couldn’t say anything right after those weird moments happened earlier.

Go home and wait for me. The screen went dark.

It sounded as if he had been waiting for the moment I opened my eyes. The question was a mockery and I pushed myself upright, my stomach twisting, as I rasped, “Why am I here?” His eyes gleamed. “Because you’re ready for the next game.” I froze. “No.” I was tired of his games. Done with them all. But he didn't think of it that way.

Another reason I need my phone. I project the idea of wiggling until my toes get the idea and obey. Slowly, my locomotive functions kick in but with it comes another realization, the beast is stirring. I stand and take in my room. Apparently, I'd blacked out and the beast'd taken over, destroying everything, furniture and all. The bed was the only thing left untouched. I walk to my phone to find the screen split in different directions but it still works. 7:21 pm ****** I head downstairs, opting to call Junnev but stop when I remember he has a game tonight. Their first game of the season.

Ariana Grande is still singing in my living room. I lessen the volume of the speakers, and I once again turn on my phone for some entertainment. I open the mobile game that everybody is so hooked up these days, and I play as I wait for Vincent to appear in the living room. I just know that he will. That guy is like my tail when he's with me. After moments, he did appear in front of me. “Can you please get the white wine? I want to drink more.” I ask with please, and with a small smile. But only a little eye contact because I really need to focus on the game.

At school, I had a nickname. They called me "Mister Wait-Your-Turn." I waited for the sneakers my brother had grown tired of, the backpack my sister thought was ugly, and the phones my parents had already cracked the screens of. Even when it came to taking a shower, I had to wait until everyone else was done. A week ago, Mom had promised me, "On the day of your college entrance exam, you won't have to wait your turn for the shower." So when I finally stumbled into the bathroom, drenched in sweat and smelling awful, I thought my turn had finally come. I was halfway through working up a lather when someone started pounding on the door. "Come out. Let your brother go in." My eyes stung,

On getting to my room, I laid down sideways on my bad before closing my eyes, I could not escape from tonight games even if it was just for a little while and the games are about to start. A knock sounded on my door. “Come on, Ice Queen, we got a game to play.” Cody voice sounded through the door as I smiled at the sound. Cody was in fact a very good friend, I just hope that he knows this too at the end of this whole reality stuff so that he will not be hurt because he was expecting more.
