Chase P.O.V Sitting in the game room with Greg playing on my retro pinball machine, and Lucas and I playing on the PlayStation on a favorite game of mine that I like to play to unwind Call Of Duty, I do nothing but think of Savannah. Lucas is kicking my ass as I am that distracted, I am losing focus. “Dude you are pussy whipped,” Lucas says as he kills my character again. “Fuck you, man,” I throw a cushion at his head. My aim being accurate it hits, and we both laugh at the encounter.

Not even Stephany got in trouble that caused me this much pain as I feel right now. I should get myself distracted with something. I got up from bed gently. Trying not to wake Stephany up. I went to my play store and selected a game to get mind off that girl. On playing, I connected with some of my friends who were still up at that time and we played together. It worked for a while. I moved away, smiling at him sheepishly. “Sorry...” I stated. He avoided my eyes before he averted it back to his computer. He continued the paused game before yawning, and I grabbed that as an excuse that I need to go home right now. “Hey, I think you’re already tired. I’m gonna head home right now,” I stated. He turned his gaze upon me, looking like he doesn’t want me to go yet. But I knew he couldn’t say anything right after those weird moments happened earlier.

It sounded as if he had been waiting for the moment I opened my eyes. The question was a mockery and I pushed myself upright, my stomach twisting, as I rasped, “Why am I here?” His eyes gleamed. “Because you’re ready for the next game.” I froze. “No.” I was tired of his games. "I'm in the middle of a game. Just do your thing for now and stop bothering me." Right after he finished speaking, the rhythmic beeping of a disconnected tone could be heard.
