If I Lay Here Novels & Stories

I’m on my own. Tiredness washes over me as I lay down on my side as I bring my knees to my chest. I’m cold, so damn cold. I close my eyes and let sleep take me.

Lisa I lay here with my eyes closed, unable to really fall asleep. I've grown used to sleeping in Lucious arms and now it feels a bit strange to not have him next to me. I lay here in bed through the night, thinking about Lucious. I may be upset with him, but I still can't keep him out of my thoughts.

I didn't want to fall prey to the constant sweetness her voice possessed. "Hi Grace. Um, I wanted to know if you were up for a physical discussion." I was currently lying on my bed, lying on my back with my pillow clutched in my hands while I crossed one leg over the other. "Um, why?" She called in an unsure tone, pretending she didn't understand the message I was trying to deliver. "Please, it's really important." I said. She sighed for a moment and reluctantly called back in agreement. "Fine, where do you want us to meet?"

My insides are screaming as panic sets in as flashes of the last however long, blaze through my mind like a forest fire. "My name is Layla. I don't know where I am, or how I got here. I don't even know what day it is. I was running and fell off a cliff into a raging river and that is the last thing I remember. Brady and Jace - " I start to explain what happened when he slams his fist into the cement wall cracking it. Whoa.

Put on my night clothes. I lay down on the bed. Stared at the ceiling. I didn't sleep. Ps: conversations could be better, I know but I'm using a transcribing method.

I sit on the floor with my back against the wood. I close my eyes. I listen. I wait. The night is not over.

First, the news channel isn’t running but some shitty reality show that makes me cringe. Second, there’s a woman spread out on my bed, her boots tossed on the floor, her hand buried between her thighs inside her shorts. I close my eyes and release a frustrated sigh. “What the fuck are you doing here, Layla?” I mutter under my breath as I make my way to the closet, snatching a fresh t-shirt and jeans. “Cyrus will chop my damn dick off and lock you in a fucking crate before shipping you off somewhere.”

I am looking right and forth ,and I am all over here lying to the ground unable to move away , the ground itself is not hard , rather it's more like an ocean surface, turbulant ocean like small waves , hitting my fingers gently again and again , and here I am all there , lying on my back, can't move at all , like I am being paralysed , I lost my sense of time, I don't know how long I have been here , or how long I have been in this state ,but I manged to tilt my head alittle up .
