I Stack Experience Through Reading Books Novels & Stories

He only looked at me and never responded to that. He finally broke the silence. "So, you like to read? I saw the way your eyes lit up when you were in the library" he said. I felt a small blush creep into my cheeks at Stephen's observation. "Yes, I do like to read," I admitted. "Books have always been a source of comfort and escape for me, especially when things get tough. The library here is so beautiful, I have never seen anything like it, it's hard not to get lost in it. I used to save up money to buy pre-owned books from people back at home. My Papa taught me to love books. Every night I read him to sleep when I was home.”

Honestly, I didn’t care how strange it sounded. “I’m serious,” I continued before anyone could interrupt me. “Do any of you understand how much suffering I went through in that library? I spent three whole months reading books heavy enough to kill somebody if they fell from a shelf. I memorised the name of herbs until I started seeing plant names in my sleep. I cannot go through all of that just to miss my exams because someone suddenly decided I’m a murderer.” To my surprise, a few people actually looked amused. Ael lowered his head slightly, though I could tell from the way his shoulders moved that he was trying not to laugh.

Without it, I would never, ever fall for an uneducated douche like him. Okay, maybe he was educated. He did say he reads books. I’d actually looked up that book he mentioned – Battlefield of the Gods. It was massive, over seven hundred pages of heavy and complicated shit. At least, that's what I gathered from the few pages on an online library. Bless the 21st century – I didn't even have to go to a physical library anymore; I could hoard knowledge from the comfort of my own bed.

I kind of hesitated as I looked at the books and reached out to grab one of them. "Have you ever bothered reading these books?" he asked me. "No, not really. I don't want to read books that remind me of how sick I am." I tell him. "But they can be very educational. Like this one, it's a workbook with exercises and some meditation techniques," he said as he pulled out a book and handed it to me. I looked at the cover before handing it back. "No," I answered shortly.

my sister said contradicting my ideas for the inns. “You were just too lazy to see many books around you, since you never know how to lift a single page of a book,” I said, making faces while looking at her. She rolled her eyes while kissing Dandelion. “You know there's a lot of things that you can learn aside from reading a book, just like socializing and having fun! If you grow up and have lots of cool friends around you, you will enjoy life and just avoid being in the room while reading something with just several pieces of paper and ink compiled together in one piece,” she said explaining and can't hide her irritated facial expression.

Pile of books piled on the table. Towering high to cover Rail's very serious face. He read every word, sentence and paragraph written in the book. The book contains about human organs in more detail. He took the wrong book, after finishing and didn't get what he was looking for. He changed his book to another. One book was finished reading and he didn't find what he was looking for, he moved to another book that was in the pile. The pile moved from one side of the table to the other.

Her cheeks grew red as she glared at John viciously. John smiled condescendingly and brushed her off, “Still, you could learn a lot from this, I’m sure.” Sherry took a breath and ignored him. She may not be as experienced as John, but she did manage to extract a lot of helpful information from the book. She was aware that books did not offer as much as real-world practical experiences, but they still helped her considerably. That was why she had read the books, to prepare herself for when she stepped into the business field. She knew that she had relied on nothing but her abilities and determination to ascend the ranks inside Sager Corporation.

Rio is going to hate that. These last two days I've been living with Isabelle and learning a LOT of things. I used to consider myself some kind of expert but I really didn’t know anything at all. I spent those two days trying to build up my mental strength and apparently I’m improving. Isabelle sent me back to Tallahide with seven books I have to read before I meet her again. Seven. Seven big ass books. But never mind, it's not like I have much to do anyway and I loved every second of being with her, so now I'm driving back home happily.

"Thank you for letting me read your collection of books." This time Lexie was more used to it and she wasn't afraid at all as she walked down the stone steps to Rafe's room. She already knew exactly what was waiting for her down there. And now she felt really enthusiastic, instead of being frightened by the darkness that surrounded her before the lights around her flashed one by one. “I'm the only one who usually reads those books. Glad if someone else reads it too.” "What book do you like?" “I read all the books. Novels, books about business, books about autos, anything. At least I have to enrich myself with knowledge so that other people can't fool me.”

, at the request of the old general manager of the family business and always accompanied. The novels, which she had in a certain quantity in her room, were occasionally picked up by one of the employees who advised her during the day. According to the authors and genres she liked. Now, alone, Rúbia went through all the sectors, meticulously organized in alphabetical order. For those that used to be of interest to her without even looking at the sessions and, towards the end of the collection, reaching the books that deal with the pastime prescribed by Magalhaes. “If you feel a certain amount of anxiety, similar to mental hunger, try to focus on this game and everything related to it.
