She described the sights, sounds, and smells of the jungle with such vivid detail that I felt like I was right there with her. I was so engrossed in the story that I didn't even realize how much time had passed.

There was something about her that I felt deeply connected with, a major reason I always turn back to this book when my life tides seem to get violent. Because my book issuing date was near and I had already read the book, I decided to go to the library and get a new one. My reading habit dates back when I was little. Though, my fondness with inked pages is perpetual, I have become more talkative. In fact, the pile of my words can be categorised as rambling.

I need to take time. I remember the small room I entered last time. I slowly opened the door and turned on the lampshade. The books on the table were still scattered. I tried to look and read each one of them. These are all interesting books. Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli, The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and a lot more. I tried to find something that might help me, but I found nothing.

I feel something heavy on my eyelid until it covers my entire eyes and all I felt is a bump in my head.

She started off with Algebra, followed by Humanity, English, Science and lastly, World History. Upon picking up the book of “The Pharaohs of Ancient Egypt,” she felt a vibration—it was almost electric. The book seemed to quiver at her touch, or so she thought. She immediately put it down, afraid to touch it. Her heart was beating so fast. After some minutes of staring at the book, she took a deep breath and touched the said book again. It did not shake this time, so she thought she might just have an illusion on that feeling. Hence, she started reading where their class left off.

A little 8 year old girl sat on the swing in her grandmother’s garden with a book in her hand. She was reading a book meant for adults but who could blame her, she has a very high I.Q and even higher E. Q. Despite her small figure and young age, she had already completed all the business books her father had given to her in secret to read.
