I Survived Book New Novels & Stories

"I couldn't figure it out at first. I made my moves early this time and even planned everything ahead. Why didn't Simon give up on you? Later, when I was starving in the wilderness, I finally understood that you were also reborn. "Hahaha! Did you really think switching mates early would change your fate? I'll make sure you die after being stripped of all dignity, just like you did in the past life." She gestured for the rogues to step forward. I struggled violently. The chains cut into my flesh, and pain surged through me. Was I really going to die again? Even after being reborn? At that moment, a scar-faced rogue licked his lips. He stared at me with a disgusting grin.

I wasn’t alone anymore. And whatever was watching me. Wasn’t part of the system I escaped. It was something else. Something new. Something that had just entered the game. And this time. I had no instructions on how to survive it.

“Never judge a book by its cover. Having a coworker like her is seriously the biggest stain on my life.” I ignored everyone’s mocking comments and simply smiled as I escorted Elijah and his group out. After everything I went through in my previous life, words like these meant nothing to me anymore.

You didn't starve to death. I could not take it anymore. "Mom, do you know how I've been surviving this semester? On handouts from my roommate and digging through trash for leftover food! And today, if my advisor hadn't been kind enough to buy me a meal, I probably would've collapsed and ended up in the hospital!" I thought hearing about what I had been through might change her mind. Instead, she let out a scornful laugh. "So what, you're trying to brag to me about your good luck? How you ran into a nice roommate and a nice advisor?

Sometimes it meant learning to carry the memories without letting them bruise. The day stretched gently. They laughed, ate too much, walked through the park. When she passed a bookstore window, she caught her reflection again standing in front of shelves of words and stories, and for the first time, she saw herself not as the woman who’d been left, but as the one who survived. By evening, she was home again. She took the book from where she’d left it and opened it. On the inside cover, in faint pencil, another line. One she hadn’t seen before.

No one felt safe. Then I came along. I used to kill without word, without thought, without feeling. 12 Families, using the very land I planned to live out my last days. 12 families I have removed from meaningless deaths. I got out of the car, and went to the center where the rest of the families were sitting, watching the kids run around and play. “ Good evening everyone!!” “Good evening,” They all replied. “ I have a new guest for you. Please welcome him with open arms as I have done you. Please show him around and help him work through this new chapter in his life.”

The moment we made it to the last floor, I opened a random door and dragged them in with me. “Get out!” Those were the words that welcomed us and I shielded Elio and Rosa beside me as I raised my hand to my head. “We're looking for the rest of the survivors.” I said calmly, but one of the students had a sharpened piece of wood in his hand, making me halt. “You must be infected. We don't want you here!” He snapped and before I could speak up, Elio stepped out, his eyes wide. “J! You're alive?!” He cried out in disbelief and the rest of them gasped as they called out Elio's name in disbelief.

Everyone filed into the bedroom. Lexi went to the desk and picked up her laptop case. She could tell by the weight that the computer was still in the case. She walked to her bed. This was it. She’ll fire it up, log on, and send an S.O.S. to the police. Lexi opened the case and reached in for the computer. She laid it on the bed, and then she sat on the bed. She pressed the button in the middle to flip the laptop open. Shock struck her nervous system as she stared at the cracked screen and the busted keyboard.

It’s all about faith. °°° The story ends here. Thanks for reading. Follow me on my I*, and get to know about my next book which is about their kids. Also, read my another book Beta Nocholas. It's a werewolf romance. Thanks again :)

Like we’ve done for years. "So what's with you and Aidan?" Jared asks between mouthfuls of chocolate mint ice cream. "What do you mean?" I reply after taking a long licked from my vanilla soft serve. "Well yesterday he came to ask me about your book. And it was weird because it was the 3rd one in the series. He didn't even know it was yours or your name. He just wanted a background check on it so I told him it was yours. He then Alpha commanded me to tell him everything about you. He said it was a clue. What's going on there?"
