She looked at me for a few seconds as if she had something on her mind but didn’t know what to say to me. “Sometimes I feel like I know you and many times I feel like I don’t. I mean we are best friends but I don’t know as much of you as you know about me and I’m not angry or trying to have any issues with it, it’s just…” she sighed deeply. “Somehow.” I understood where it was that she was coming from and that made me feel bad. “What do you want to know?” I asked. “Who are you?” Her question took me by surprise.

"It's what I *know*." She pulled away from my embrace, wrapping her arms around herself again. "I've seen myself in the mirror, Aiden. I know what I look like now. And I understand if you're not—if you don't want to—" She couldn't finish.

“Do you want to confront her about it?” “No, but I really need to know who her partner is and what they are planning.” “Sure, and I'm here to help.”

But I'm not sure if it's of me or something else. She's looking at me as if she knows me. But I know I don't know her. I don't know anything about her. I don't know why she's here or what she's doing. And then, one thing becomes clear to me-- I don't care. I don't care about her name or her past. None of that matters now. I don't care about anything other than her. I want us to be together. To be happy forever. This is what I want, and I don't understand why.

"Can I come?" I looked at her. "You don't even know us." "I know you're going somewhere more interesting than here," she said, around a mouthful. "And I know you look like someone I'd want to know. Those two things are enough for me." "That's not how decisions get made."

Something almost… curious. I don’t know her name. Yet. I don’t know her story. But for the first time in a long time, I want to.

I was asking no one exactly since I was all alone I need to find out, I need to know who she is and what she wants from us.

“I told her I want to know her.” He blinked, surprise lacing his face, “You did?” “Yes I did. She’s… perfect. I know that. And I feel something for her, more than the mate bond, more than you’ll ever know. I want to see her smile, hear her laugh, learn her, know her, do things for her. but I can’t.” “Kae—”

How does she do that? Then there are those moments when she looks vulnerable and sad that she hardly shows, but I see them. She has dark shadows around her that she can’t get rid of, but it doesn’t take away from what she is. I couldn’t imagine her any other way nor would I want to. She’s the most interesting person I’ve ever met, and I can’t wait to learn everything else about her. I’m going to learn everything about her the same way I learned how to code…with perseverance and determination.

It must have been nice to be known as the first lady of the ideal president in this school. I wanted to know what happened to her, I wanted to know where she is right now. I don’t even know why I badly want to meet her, when in fact, she might not even know me, or rather, she might not like me at all because maybe something bad happened between them and my mum before they broke up.
