He looks so handsome, how could somebody be this perfect? “Hey!” I say excitedly as I give him a hug. One thing I noticed about him is that he is quite a hugger. His hugs are awesome; they are warm and he has the ability to make you feel safe once he wraps his arms around you. I would never admit out loud that every time I see him, I get excited to receive one of his hugs. Is it weird that my mood gets a lot better the moment I see him? Why would that happen?

I can handle just holding his hand, that's harmless. "Yes, but it won't always stop at just holding my hand. The light buzzing could continue next time until we hug, then the next time till we kiss. I squeezed his hand reassuringly. "I guess not, but..." I trailed off, unsure. He gave my hand a gentle squeeze and stood up, offering me his hand. I took it hesitantly. When he pulled me up, I wrapped my arms around him and buried my face into his chest, breathing deeply. Nathan let out a small chuckle and rubbed my arms. "Thanks," I mumbled, pulling away slightly. He smiled gently down at me, taking both of my hands in his and squeezing them gently.

I smacked him across the chest, and he just stared at me. "What the—" he exclaimed, and I was surprised when he drew me closer to him, pressed my face against his chest even more, and hugged me so tightly, a bone-crushing hug. "If you don't stop crying, I'll keep hugging you like this until you can't breathe anymore," he said, which made me chuckle; he was desperate to make me stop crying, but he was doing it brutally, just like Daniel said; this is his way of showing his concern for me.

He lets go to slide me to my own feet to wrap his arms back around me again and squeezes me doubly tight, almost winding me fully with rib cracking strength. It’s the kind of hug given in desperation, when someone really is happy to have you back with them and can’t control how it feels. I don’t mind the bone cracking, as long as he doesn’t hate me anymore. Obviously still loves me if this is anything to go by. I cry, silent tears and cling on desperately, every part of me cocooned in the one safe place I never want to leave ever again. Enveloped by everything that I love about him.

I hold out my hand for him to shake. He looks down at my hand with surprise, then shakes his head with amusement and opens his arms out wide, though his jaw looks strained for some reason. Nevertheless, my smile widens as I step into his arms and give him the tightest hug I can manage. He chuckles into my hair and gives me a strong, warm hug.
