The Forgotten Alpha

The Forgotten Alpha

It took a while for me to even know that I was crying until u felt the wetness cool the sides of my cheeks. Like I was struck with lightning yet again, memories of how his king were butchered flew into my mind and I could do nothing but continue to stare at the horrendous scenes in my subconscious as I continued to shed more tears. This male Icari has been through so much in this life time and in previous life times. I think I now understand why the moon goddess is doing what she is doing…. But I know that I do not wish for her to control my life as if it were hers. I do not wish for her to take control of my mind and dictate for me what it is that I must do and what it is that I must feel.

Too Close To Handle

Too Close To Handle

Chloe’s voice rang like a bell, commanding the crowd’s attention, “allow me to present—The Scarlet Promise.” Her words unfolded like a spell: “The kiss of eternity, woven in red. Crimson cords entwined with silver constellations, binding love to the heavens. At its center burns a radiant star-shaped jewel, fractured yet more luminous—like a heart once broken, now remade. From it dangles a drop of scarlet fire, recalling sorrow’s ache, yet also the spark of a vow reborn. Passion becomes prophecy: love that falters, love that endures, love that rises again in greater flame. The Scarlet Promise is not only a memory of love, but a testament to love rediscovered—fragile, eternal, eternal, and thr

The Alpha’s secret baby

The Alpha’s secret baby

Every guard around was out searching for her, and Icarus had exploited that opportunity to sneak in. "What on earth do you think you're doing here?!" I thundered as I raced forward to apprehend Icarus. "Don't be too harsh on your guest, brother. Besides, don't you want to hear what I have to say? I'm very sure you'll find it helpful." Icarus spoke, stopping me in my tracks. The possibility of him having Lisa in his possession made me cease any form or movement. Icarus was a diabolical monster, and I wanted to know what he was up to this time.

, she tried to comfort him. "How about we make a promise.", He took out two beautifully carved necklaces. Both of them sparkled in the sun. Both necklaces had a small locket which looked like crescent moon. In the middle of the moon was attached a special carved stone which had galaxy in it. it looked stunnigly beautiful. Fei Fei was astonished. "What it that?!", Her eyes sparkled.

Once Upon A Luna

Once Upon A Luna

Matt bluntly asked Nisha. “It’s quite the tragic story.” Nisha glanced over at the fur ball with a sad look on her face. “Long, long ago, there was a man called Icarius. He was traveling when he met some shepherds and gave them wine. He did it out of the kindness of his heart. However, the shepherds became drunk and thought Icarius had poisoned them, so they killed him. Icarius had a daughter named Erigone, and she was worried when her father didn’t return and set off with their dog Maera to find him. Maera led Erigone to Icarius’ grave. Erigone became so overwhelmed with grief that she hung herself, and Maera leaped off a cliff. Icarius, Erigone, and Maera are in the sky as the constellatio

Marked By My Best Friend's Dad

Marked By My Best Friend's Dad

“From the first moment the Goddess set our paths, Through storms, through shadow, through inevitable wrath, I felt the gravity of your spirit pulling at mine. Not as a choice, not as a favor, But as the tide knows the shore it must kiss. I have seen the fire in your heart, The defiance that shields your vulnerability, The strength that makes the world hesitate, And the softness that only blooms for those you trust. Iris, you are my anchor in chaos, The pulse that keeps my own heart aligned. In you, I see the Moon’s reflection, Silvered, radiant, unyielding. I do not offer empty words. I do not offer promises lightly. But I swear before these walls, before the eyes of our kind, And before the

The Lycan King's Accidental Bride

The Lycan King's Accidental Bride

If this was the final straw that would make her flee from me, so be it. "Well, it happened several centuries ago. Aries doesn't quite remember, but... he made a costly mistake and earned himself a woman's spite," Icarus said. It didn't surprise me. It was quite typical for me to do that, considering the number of women who were constantly hovering around me. Even so, it was embarrassing to know that I'd angered a woman to the point where she'd decided to curse me. "Was she a lover, perhaps?" Raven asked, and I stiffened.

Alpha Ozymandius

Alpha Ozymandius

I met a traveller from an antique land, Who said-"Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand, Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed; And on the pedestal, these words appear: My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings; Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away." P.B Shelley

ENIGMA

ENIGMA

"If i leave, the only thing I'd want is for nobody to grieve. Grief might be stronger than just love but it is I, a person so afraid of love that grief abandons my heart in a desert. If i leave, I'd want you to celebrate for it is I, the bird who was just set free. Being Icarus is in my blood. We both fly too close to the sun, far too painful to be pleasurable but my wings are blue with cold and the tips burns. I am hot and cold at the same time, love and agony exist in me at once." "This is for your parents is it not?", Minjae asked, quietly so as to not disturb the peace of this moment between them. Her first night with her loving husband spent sorting through beautiful art that he created

Her Graceful War Song

Her Graceful War Song

The confession was written entirely in Stellish, which Westhaven envoys couldn't fully understand. The two interpreters read it aloud in Westic for them. Icarus took full responsibility for the plot, explaining that his motive stemmed from Hector's past victory of Westhaven, which had resulted in the deaths of many Westhaven soldiers. He also harbored a deep grudge against the Sullivan family, particularly Carissa, whose grandfather, Dominic, had guarded Victory Pass for many years and fought in countless battles. Consumed by hatred, Icarus had seized the opportunity to strike at Carissa when he came to the capital, hoping to vent his anger.

I love reading but choosy, and this book caught my attention as the author's thought was put into writing. It portrayed the life of normal and those in power clearly. It contains political, military, monarchial, business, education, martial arts, humanitarian, judicial aspects that I can relate to.

I like how this novel is now evolving into an interesting Sherlock Holmes case after the much-needed testimonies of Caden, Barett, Viola and Violet in particular... And I don't understand people's lack of patience, I really don't... for my part I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us
