“They’re medicinal, apparently.” He raises an eyebrow at me. I roll my eyes. “They just help send you off to a peaceful sleep, Auden. And promote good dreams, or something. Both of which sound very nice.” “I could use some of that myself,” he murmurs, contemplative. I raise my brows and hold the plate out toward him. He laughs, low and steady, slowly shaking his head. “I’m a Prince, Everleigh. You think it wasn’t beaten into me at a young age to not accept treats with strange provenance? Especially those which are admittedly medicinal?”

Sanura walked into the room without a word or even looking at Princess Freda and put the tray on the small table on the floor lounge in the corner. Princess Freda noticed that the tray have enough food for two with two glasses. After Sanura left, prince Ra positioned a pillow at the table. “Please join me,” he asked, showing his hand to the floor. Happy for some company, Princess Freda took a pillow and sat across from him, waiting for him to eat first. “How was your day,” Princess Freda asked, hungry for some sort of entertainment. Prince Ra does not answer her and just smiled while eating.

He got up from the couch and put on his long velvet jacket, then he headed to the kitchen and saw a servant walking with a silver tray between his hands. “Your Highness.” he bowed. “Is this the king's breakfast?” Erik asked, pointing at the tray. “Yes, Your Highness.” “I see, then please let me give it to him. I was heading to his chambers anyway.” he took the tray from the young boy's hands. “Are you sure, Your Highness? I would not like you to bother yourself,” the servant said shyly. “Not at all,” the prince smiled. “You can have your breakfast, I am sure you have not eaten yet.”

What exactly is he up to now? The officials laugh, humoring him. “And what would you like to offer instead, Your Highness?” He doesn’t look at them. His gaze is fixed squarely on me as he answers. “I’d like to change tradition, and instead of feeding them pudding, I’d like to feed them strawberries instead.” My blood runs cold. The officials chuckle and nod. “As you wish, Your Highness.” A maid hurries forward with a silver bowl, piled high with glistening red strawberries. My pulse quickens as the prince takes the bowl in his hands, his expression unreadable.

Even without Katherine's appearance it must have been hard for the maid to see the stairs over the pile of food on the tray. "It was for his Highness the Prince, your Highness", the maid said in a small voice and curtsied. Then she walked away with the tray of shards, most likely back to the kitchen. Since Katherine's mind was with Nathaniel right now, it took her a while to understand that 'his Highness' in this case, was not her husband, but Prince Aston. Of course, it made sense for the foodie to get such a big meal.

Troy was busy looking at the menu given by the waiter. "I'll have ginger milk," I replied. "I'll have chocolate milk, Uncle," said Gillian. Troy nodded and repeated our orders to the waiter. He also ordered several snacks for us. "Didn't you bring bottled breastmilk for Prince?" Troy asked when he saw Prince starting to get fussy from thirst. "I have a lot of breastmilk stock in the ice box. It just needs to be warmed up," I said while grabbing a bottle of warm milk from the backpack.

This candy case sat opposite the counter. “Yes, you can. But don't go too far.” Stephanie warned. Princess bounced her head happily and hurried to the candy case. Her mouth fell open after taking a closer look at the goodies in it. She traced her fingers on them and Sebastian chuckled. “Tell me anything you want from there. I’d get it for you.” Princess heard Sebastian talk, but she was too carried away to respond. She wanted to carry the whole candy case home. “And you, beautiful? Which would you love to taste first? Here are the lists of ice cream flavors...” He pointed to the printed cards in a glass, showing them to Stephanie.

I ordered them when the waitress returned with a chocolate milkshake. Cuore ordered herself a chicken fillet with vegetables instead of chips. Eww, but she needed the minerals or whatever. Mr Nova wanted a steak that he ordered with mashed potatoes. What was wrong with these people why didn't they have chips? Prince Tay was the least expected meal. I assumed he would want to have protein to like bulk up but out of all thing, he ordered a shrimp salad. He came to a restaurant and decided on a salad. A shrimp salad to make it worse.

Nestled inside the basket are some neatly packed treats: a small container of golden, flaky pastries dusted with powdered sugar, a jar of honey-glazed nuts, and two slices of what appears to be a warm, spiced apple loaf wrapped in cloth. She points to the pastries. “Prince Tristan told me those were the crown prince’s favorite.” Her gaze lowers as she mentions that last part, and my chest tightens. “I made it, so the two of you can have something to eat while you talk.”
