“True. Me, too.” In all sincerity, Tayo had never seen Idara so happy and beautiful like she was tonight. She was wearing light make-up and a brown shoulder-length wig on her head, which he found pretty cool. He'd long noticed her undying love for the colour blue, so he wasn't surprised about her crochet purse and fancy sneakers which were both hues of blue and white. As if that wasn't enough swag, Idara actually held a bottle of Pepsi with its standard blue, red and white logo matching her outfit big time.

If anything, what I had seen on the TV seemed dull in comparison to what went on in the Iridescence Pack. My eyes widened and my jaw became slack as I realized why this was called the Carnival Cerulean. Bundles of living flame were suspended in the air, casting their beautiful light on the Carnival below. The flames weren’t normal, flickering with orange and red light. They were a rich shade of blue, cerulean to be exact. Within those flames were different shades and colors, all stemming from the color blue. They crackled and snapped, sending cobalt embers into the air whenever something managed to catch itself in the flames.

Conal saw Azura's strange expression, he gently hugged her, but Azura pushed his hand away from her, she shouted with an angry attitude: "Get out! Don't touch me." Azura seemed to lose her will, turning to look at him with bright eyes. Conal was amazed to see that Azura's navy blue eyes had turned a bright yellow, identical to his eyes when he was angry. Azura suddenly realized it was Conal; she tried to stay calm; she closed and opened her eyes, again and again, her eyes started to get uncomfortable. She said with difficulty, with pauses: "Conal…sorry…I…I…have to…go…now…now…now."
