“Put your finger out.” I do as he says, and I wait for the burn to come, but it doesn’t. I close my eyes to numb any pain if it comes. I slowly open my eyes to see why I didn't burn. My finger is glittering. I’m blown away. “I’m like Edward right now,” I say, grinning, thinking about the Twilight books. The author did an excellent job in a lot of things regarding the supernatural. I walk out of the cave, still masking my scent, and bathe my body under the sun.

Nate who had settled on a tanned couch placed close to the wall, instantly raised his eyes from his cellphone. "Yes," He answered with a low voice. She pressed her lips firmly together before putting another question forward, "And what are vampires like in real life?" Nate seemed to understand that it was going to be a long questionnaire and got up from the couch to sit on the bed beside her. "What vampire-based movies have you watched?" He asked, the ghost of a smile playing about on his lips. "Only one. Twilight," And only because Arabella had forced her to watch it after losing a bet.

“They don’t always bite. Sometimes they touch. Sometimes they make you beg.” “They get stronger the more you want them. If they feed too much, it can change you.” Her throat went dry. She scrolled down to the comments. It was a storm of sarcasm and mockery: “Is this Twilight fanfic?” “Girl, get off Tumblr.” “Anything for likes these days, smh.” “Vampires feed on sexual desire? Tell him to come suck me dry 😏 lol” “Another delusional weirdo.” “You really need therapy, not a blog.”

I said, biting my bottom lip. "My favorite song in the world is from the year 1975. I won't laugh." She chuckled. I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Trust me, this one is embarrassing." I laughed uncomfortably. "It's Roslyn by Bon Iver...from the Twilight movies." I said the last bit under my breath, hoping she wouldn't catch it. It was a weird song to admit as my favorite, but it was true. "I've never watched any of the movies." She answered, and my head whipped up as I gasped. I pulled my hand back as I sat up, and instantly cursed myself for the loss of her touch.

Tyler’s POV “Fifty Shades of Gray? That’s what we are going to watch?!” My little snow flower nodded like a beagle being asked by her master. “I thought we were going to watch a funny movie.” “This is a funny movie,” Elaine reasoned. “At least some part of it. The original trilogy is basically a fanfiction of Twilight, the movie we last watched.” “Twilight? The one where they portray vampires with diamond skin and werewolves that shift with clothes on?”

I was quick to cut him off, again. "Are you going to continue trying to make this, forced, not so interesting small talk or can I please just go to my room and act like I don't know what I actually know?"
