Me: You realise ignoring me only makes me more curious. I hit send. The message goes through instantly. Of course it does, because it’s still the wrong number.

Everhart: "You also need to clear the three unexcused absences you have to take part in senior activities. Clear them as soon as possible, please." Me: "You got it; tomorrow I'll get rid of them." After a few more seconds, four texts arrive one after the other. Mr. Thorne: "Alright, now that we've cleared all of that. Why are you ignoring us, Via?" Mr. Beaumont: "Isn't it common knowledge that ignoring others is considered impolite?" Mr. Everhart: "Have you made up your mind, Via? If so, please stop ignoring us so we can discuss some crucial topics."

- Okay, calm down, let go of me first and then I'll let them go. Riffen shook his head, he's not stupid, after all these years, could he be tricked by this petty game?

Well, let us try the ignore part first. The phone goes silent for a few brief seconds before it persistently starts to light up again. Now is this girl going to flood my inbox with a million messages saying how sorry she is? Do I even care if she is sorry? Well, let us ignore her for another few seconds and then decide how I feel about that. Fuck…I am pissed.

“I'm giving you a piece of advice because Alpha likes you. You're the shiny new toy, and it's troublesome when his toys break too easily.” My lips peeled back, and a low snarl came. “I'm not his toy.” “Emotions in check, sweetheart,” he reminded coldly. “Now I suggest you keep your eyes forward.” I wanted to punch him, but I also knew that he was right. Drawing a deep breath, I shifted my attention back to the traitors, just in time to see the last one…

As I sent the message, he came online like he was waiting for my reply. I'm feeling extremely sad to ignore him intentionally. Mr Stranger: Thank god, you replied. I became so worried about you. I really hope, you're really fine and you're not lying to me. I sighed deeply.

The truth stabs deep, cold and unrelenting, as she takes in the sight before her.
