Lila’s smile faded slightly, but she nodded politely. “Of course. Right this way.”

We went through clothes first. Jasmine grabbed clothes off the hangers one after another, and tossed them at me. There were dresses, jeans, sweaters, half of it I was sure I would never wear, but she didn’t care.
