As he meandered towards a collection of images that depicted the mystic amalgamation of half-wolf, half-human forms, a wicked smirk tugged at the corners of his lips. His footsteps echoed through the gloom as he paced back and forth, the room filled with an electrifying energy that crackled in the air. "What if I could harness their otherworldly powers? If only things had been different for me, perhaps life within my Aunt's mansion would have taken a different turn. I closed my eyes, attempting to push aside the negative thoughts that threatened to overwhelm me.
