He gently took the book back before sliding it into its rightful place. "We once travelled further than most people now remember." He wandered slowly along the shelves. "Our storytellers returned with tales from kingdoms beyond Hell, from deserts where the sand sang beneath the moon, forests whose trees grew taller than mountains, oceans so vast an entire lifetime could pass without finding the opposite shore." His hand moved to another shelf.

Maybe that was one of the things that put me off Joshua, he didn't like to gamble. “Interesting, very interesting. Who creates these games?” I could see that Hyperion was genuinely interested. “Look, many, because the theme can be as varied as the human imagination. It's like asking who creates the movies we watch, there are hundreds of directors, just as there are hundreds of system creators. Basically someone imagines some scenario, creates the rules for it and then puts it to the test. I hate creating systems, but I love creating stories, especially horror stories.” “I see, but have you ever thought if any of these stories are true?”

Sinjin couldn't remember the last time he'd had so much fun just goofing around. He and the boys had played games like chess, Monopoly, and Scrabble. When they grew tired of the games, they pleaded with him to tell them a story, so he fabricated one from his imagination. Elle POV. “Tell me a story” I whisper over the phone, tonight was one of the worst nights ever, I had several nightmares back to back, I woke more than once but I managed to get back to sleep, but the last one was very bad. I couldn’t go back to sleep, I was scared of my own mind, having an overactive imagination turned to be a curse in lonely nights, every sound, every murmur my brain translated and turned into a monster hiding in the darkness.

Stop. Uncle told me that I'm the kind of person who would just think of some silly ideas that are often unlikely to happen. I am not quite sure of that, but maybe the reason behind my weird imagination is from reading books about fictions and fantasies. Maybe. I let out a yawn while I browse through the pages of the book I was studying. It feels kind of drowsy when you're reading a book with no pictures in it. I am maybe an athlete student at my school, but I still need to maintain a passing grade. I don’t know where my study leads me.
