If You Can Do Better, Prove It

If You Can Do Better, Prove It

Substitution simulation commencing. The crowd gasped as my mother froze mid-breath, her body turning stiff and lifeless. All eyes turned to the giant screen, now displaying a simulation. The audience grew increasingly curious, all wondering what kind of life my mom would have had if she were me. In the simulation, a baby girl was born—a replica of me in appearance and physique. The system identified her as "Subject One." She would relive my exact life circumstances, but her goals and decisions would be driven by my mother's consciousness, stripped down to focus on academics and filial duty.

Marry Me, Madison

Marry Me, Madison

Unlike the others, it was… handwritten. Wait… is this a… journal? A diary… maybe? ‘A life with a Killer' My eye froze as soon as I read the title of the book. It was… indeed a Diary. But why does it looks so exactly like a format of a novel? My head frowns in confusion. Why is there a novel like this? It… sounds interesting but… should I read this? The fact that there are many books in this library, I can say that he just randomly asked books to fill this place…

Any resemblance to actual person, living or dead, or actual events are purely coincidental. This book may not reproduced in any material form or transmitted to any persons without the permission of the author. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It contains the otherworldly imaginations of the author about zombie apocalypse, magical illusions and over-exaggerated scenes that may not suitable to your taste. The plots of indirect discrimination may trigger your annoyance but it is just purely for entertainment purpose. Novelcat : https://www.novel-cat.com/bookDetail/13580755020

The Final Cut

The Final Cut

He wanted to feel alive again. All he seemed to feel, when Jimmy was about to behead him, was disappointment. This told Jimmy one thing; killing Isimud would not bring an end to the story. Shakespeare was long dead, so were Dickens and Austen, but their stories had more life than ever. You don’t end a tale by killing the person who told it. This wouldn’t end the story. Isimud would just come back to life, no matter how many times he was killed.

The Drifter's Memoir of a Second Life

The Drifter's Memoir of a Second Life

Silence ensued all around us, and every other child was staring at me jealously. Still, I nodded without hesitation. "Okay." "Good, good!" Carl smiled as he took my hand in his warm palm that also felt a little dry. "From now on, your name shall be Ruby Simpson, for I hope you will become a precious gem in the future too." Understanding the admiration and expectation in his words, I unwittingly clenched tightly on his palm in turn. And with that, I became the precious gem of the Simpson family. Carl himself treasured me, personally teaching me to read and write, and on philosophy.

The Twins He Never Knew

The Twins He Never Knew

The people on the street below began to glow with silver hair and green eyes. "The 150th Chapter," Nora whispered, pulling Leo into her arms as the Pierre Hotel began to float away into the infinite sky, "is not the end of the story. It's the beginning of the Simulation of the World." In London, the "Real" Julian Vane stared at his monitor as his entire empire turned into a digital storybook. He reached for the "Kill-Switch," but his hand turned into a flurry of rose petals before he could touch it.

This life again

This life again

My maids thankfully packed three pairs of mittens, all varying from gray, to brown, to black. I wear the gray ones, cupping my hands in an attempt to catch some snowflakes. They melt on impact, and I walk around, staring up at the sky in wonder. New Puerto is so different and so beautiful than my home. Even with the snow, I can see the stars glittering in earnest, the smoke from fires made to keep the small cabins and homes warm. Quill is close to me, giving me my space to allow me to enjoy the snow, but always close by in case I needed him.

Teaching her a lesson

Teaching her a lesson

I'd played the world's stupid game and I'd won, and my prize was getting to be the prize in everyone else's games. "Imitation is suicide," warns Emerson. He was right, because by thirteen, I'd killed that fat, weepy kid. I don't even remember her all that well any more. What I do remember, she wasn't any more interesting than the tweenager. She had pink walls in her bedroom, a unicorn poster on the wall, and idolized Taylor godd*mn Swift because omg not only did we have the same name, but the same initials, too! *gasp* So suddenly, I was thirteen, made straight A's, a three sport athlete, the body of a hot 20 year old, and no clue at all about who I actually was. Home life was hella easy, to

This book although taboo, brilliantly done. Original content and vividly described. Well paced. Thoroughly enjoyed and Im not even done with it yet. 30 chapters left. Def worth the read and def should be rated higher. Must be cuz of the subject matter though.

Really well-written, and very hot! It is so nice to read a book on one of these platforms without egregious spelling and grammatical errors! It lists this book as ongoing, but there haven’t been updates in a while. I would love more!

A Life I Never Knew

A Life I Never Knew

He spat as he grabbed my hair and started to drag me across the carpet. "P-please sir.. I won't do it again please forgive me"! I plead to him because I know what's coming and I hate it. Ever since Robbie killed my mother he's become even more of a monster and the treatment I endured before seemed like a paradise I reminisce on. Starvation, assaults on a daily, torture of unspeakable acts with knives, fire, water, and many more I can barely recall. But the one that gets me the most is his "special games". Which is done down in the cold smelly basement of the house.
