I was so proud of myself saying this story, happy that I remembered everything Sean told me and all she could say was 'fair enough'. "What's the name of the book she read?" She asks, and I try to rack my brain for the name. "Hidden edges," I say at once, finally finding it deep inside my jam-packed brain. "Alright," she says and folds her arms, "Since you know all that, there'll be no need to burden myself with repeating it, but I could entertain a few questions." My eyes lighten up at that and a smile plays on my lips. Finally, someone would answer my questions.

“I’ve been working on updated versions, so all the other books are in my room.” I turned to her, suddenly realizing exactly how intelligent and observant she was. This was a woman whose entire life was based on finding little details to make improvements. The bubbly unapologetic energy she carried was one built on kindness, yes, but the base of it was also a dangerous intelligence. She sent me a thoughtful look as if she knew exactly what had clicked in my head. “I’m happy to show you the updated versions sometime if you’d like.” She continued. “I’m sure you’ll find them more useful than those books.”

She has some kind of aura that radiates from her, telling those who surround her that she's not the person you want to mess with. "Yes! Finally. Here it is !" she exclaimed after finding some pages from that weird book. Most of us flinched except Hunter. She walked closer to us and sat down across us,"Okay! Something here was written about you!" She pointed her finger at me. "Well, not exactly about you but about your gift," She flipped some pages and leaned her face closer to the book as if her eyes couldn't see the letters written on that book, then her face turned stiff, something like she was reading something serious.

I really didn't know what I was looking for but deep down, that was the answer written in bold letter. "Then I have just the book for you. How to conquer your inner demons by Dr Jackson Ian." She said while leading me to another division of the library. She climbed a ladder, running her hands down the spines of the books on the sixth shelve in search of the book she had just told me. I looked away as her floral dress rode up, exposing a great view of her thighs and ass. It would me impolite to stare and besides, her ass was not my business.

Her heart made a violent pound as she recognized the book. "I guess you already know what's inside." "I don't." She had to keep her voice from a slight shaking. "Then have a look." Under the authoritative command, she took the sketchbook reluctantly. He knew there was a sketch of her in there, somewhere in the middle of the book. Her brain struggled for a strategy. She could say the woman in the sketch was not her. She could say it was just a coincidence that the woman in the sketches resembled her in some way. It was just one sketch after all.

Hera switched the topic after she sensed that it led to a dead end. “Arthur’s book?” Cyril asked. “Yup, I had it with me today and then I got bored in history class so I went to check it out.” Hera even pulled the book from her bag and showed it to Cyril. “That book club really did change you.” The girl shook her head before turning the book to a page that she marked. She once again showed it to Cyril before reciting the same passage that she underlined on the page.

The ring was doing its job well. She passed her fingers over the spine of an ancient-looking book as she moved around in the library, she looked closer at the book and saw that it was an autobiography of one of the previous Alpha before her and wondered if she were to have an autobiography of herself who would read and be interested in her life. There wasn't much to write home about.

But she knows life is not like that. And there's this issue about her relationship with Zachary. Somehow, she's got some idea but she refuses to accept it. A week ago, while she was still in the village of Stonehenge, she decides to go to their library just so she can find something to do. As she was looking for an interesting book to read, a glimpse of a book caught her attention from the corner of her eye. It is far from the other, clearly it was a valuable book for the Guardians. She was expecting to find a history about their kind, but the title said otherwise.

I couldn't help but grow curious about what was so captivating in the book that made her blush and smile with each passing second. "Is the book that interesting?" I asked, so she'd know I was still presence in the library. Lisa only gave me a nod and flip to the next page, her eyes darting on the lines inside the book. I was relief that she was back to herself, and she was smiling again rather than clutching to her stomach in pain.
