In His Eyes Novels & Stories

Everything is always blurry, everything but his eyes from where I stand every time. His eyes are entrancing, the sparkle of gold, like lighting throughout the emerald green capturing anyone who locks onto them, the shimmer and sparkle they project, with the hint of black around the edges giving you the sense of mystery they hold. Never knowing if it's pain and sadness or joy and happiness within them. This is the only thing I get to see when I'm looking through my own eyes in my dream, then I am back to standing there in the distance.

He carried himself with an air of quiet authority, his every movement exuding an aura of confidence and competence. His eyes, the windows to his soul, were the most striking feature of his face. They were a piercing shade of blue, like the icy depths of a northern glacier. They held a depth of experience and wisdom that belied his gruff exterior. In those eyes, one could see a lifetime of stories, tales of danger, bravery, and the occasional act of kindness.

"hot chocolate. Every time I look into your eyes it's like they tell me how wrong I was for thinking brown was basic. Your eyes are most definitely not basic." Without a word, he leaves the room and closes the door. My mouth finally locks itself and I drift off into the perfect beauty sleep.

It was unhealthy the way I am always thinking about him whether it was about the accident or the constant fear that this is going to blow up in my face. But tonight, it is about the gold in his eyes. How could such beautiful eyes see so little?

His eyes. His eyes, like twin galaxies, held a promise of protection and understanding. "You need to trust me," he whispered, his voice a soothing balm to her wounded spirit. "I will take away your pain. I will make them pay for what they've done to you. They'll regret every moment of it."

His single yellow eye was glowing brightly back, it was crazy. "Why are my eyes glowing?" I sighed to him and he grins. "It's your interest shining, I'm very flattered," he smiles and squeezes my hand. So all those times his single eye glowed, I sigh. "Is your other eye gone?" I asked curiously. He pursed his lips and he got distant. I frowned and turned to him. "I'm sorry for mentioning it," I sigh. "No it's okay, no one has asked about that before, my eye is there but white with blindness," he mumbles.

Hearing your thoughts and seeing what you can see… What's the difference? I did not reply. I merely showed her what the difference was. In front of Snowie's stunned gaze, I thrust my finger into my right eye and forcibly plucked my eyeball out. Of course, there would not be blood or gore. After all, my right eye was a prosthetic.

"I got a job. That is not a problem." "It is when you are ignoring my messages all day because of it." "I forgot to check my phone," I said. "I was working. That happens to people who work." He looked at me and then his eyes dropped to my wrist. I noticed it immediately. He was not subtle about it. His eyes went straight to the mark and stayed there for a few seconds. It was not a glance. It was an actual look. I pulled my sleeve down without really meaning to. It was just a reflex. His eyes came back up to my face.

The crowd was dense, but I pushed through and made a beeline for the stairs. I drew nearer and the individual glanced up and met my gaze briefly before averting his eyes. I kept back a bit, waiting for them to take the first step. Another buzz. I did not even need to check my phone to know who it was. "Close enough?" I smiled and shoved my hands into my jacket pockets and leaned in somewhat and spoke a bit softer. “You the one texting me?” He didn't say anything at first; he just sort of leaned in and displayed those incredible eyes, and I definitely saw the dark iris in his eye.

God I hope not. ‘Hi’ he replied back with a cold voice. ‘Looks like I came at the wrong time, I’ll be seeing you Rosé’ Adam turned and walked away while I just stood there staring at his back. ‘You’re lucky’ I turned back to look at Aidan and saw that his eye color were pitch black. When his eyes switched from Adam retreating silhouette to mine he calmed down and his eyes turned back into the color we all know and love, but it still wasn’t the same.
