Wisped away by the chilly air, the snowflakes made their way down, slowly and elegantly, like a passionate dancer, who was coupled with the frosty air. As I passed the tables, I was brushed by one of the aides just hard enough to knock into him. “Watch it,” he snapped as he turned to me with a glare which softened when he saw that it was me. “Sorry,” I muttered, already moving on. The pouch had already slipped cleanly into my palm while I knocked into him. Eight minutes left, I counted again. I moved toward the bonfire at the centre of the clearing, where students were dancing in wide circles, chanting old academy songs. The heat was intense, and the magic in the air was growing thicker as the blood moon approached.

His muscles are flexed, glistening under the moonlight as the water makes a layer above him. His arms move up and he wipes the water down his hair.
