I started singing with all my strength, imagining that my microphone was the shampoo. "When I'm falling down... Will you pick me up again? When I'm too far gone, dead in the eyes of my friends. I sing for my deepest fears in life and my insecurities. When I run out of original songs to play, I start playing some of my favorite classics, including music from the '80s and ‘90s. I just keep singing and performing. I keep my eyes closed so I never have to open them to the world around me again. It’s just too hard right now. I’m just so exhausted. And I can’t face an empty space when I’d rather imagine my family and friends supporting me. But when I finally stop playing, my hands cramped and my throat dry, I look back up and nearly fall over in the process.
