The faint scent of sweet peas lingered in the air from the diffuser on the nightstand, mingling with the faint aroma of vanilla shampoo from Savia and Serenity's braiding session. Lilith sprawled on her stomach on the other end of the bed, her dyed pink hair spilling over her shoulders as she kicked her legs lazily in the air. 'She looks nice,' Beatrice thought still staring at her before noticing Vanessa was giving her a weird look with one of her brows raised questioningly at her.

I said, my focus on the paper, my mind still tangled in her. The door creaked open, heels clicking on the hardwood, a heavy floral perfume hitting me like a wave, suffocating and familiar. This female is dangerous and I’m seriously debating just ending the threat here and now. “Aye and these ones are full.” James jumps from the van and steps up beside me so I can see the few vials in his hands. The liquid inside is amber and looks thicker than water; the vials themselves aren’t that big and the other female had a bunch of empty ones in her van. I don’t say anything as I take one of the vials and pop off the corked top with my thumb, lifting it to my nose. I’m trying to sort out all of the scents inside of the vial, but there are too many for me to sort. None of them smell like drugs, though; it actually smells herbal, which doesn’t make sense because the blonde in my basement

“My dad loves vanilla.” Cassie manages to face forward again. “S.. sure.” Trying to hide Mathias’s effect on her body, she takes a deep breath. “Okay.” Avra seems happy after her permission. “Um, there must be vanilla powder in that drawer.
