Winter's Idolatry
I rolled my eyes, "Right."
We both again stood in silence, watching the snow fall. The flakes hitting the glass and melting instantly. The ground getting more packed with a smooth sheet of white.
"It's beautiful." I smiled, my eyes following the flakes down to the ground of the football field that wasn't recognizable anymore.
"Hmmm," Dallas mumbled lightly, looking at me from the corner of his eyes.
"You know," I started softly, locking my eyes with his. "You can trust me, tell me things, anything." I shrugged lightly because I didn't want to make it a big deal.
