“Then who did?” “I—I don’t know. The house just shut itself down. All exits sealed. All windows secured. The system locked me out.” She moved down the last steps. “Anders,” she said quietly, “tell me the truth. Is someone else inside this mansion?” He didn’t answer immediately. She gripped the phone tighter. “Anders.” “Mrs. Moretti…” His voice cracked. “Something triggered the lockdown from inside the house.” She turned slowly, eyes scanning the dim hallway behind her.

Outside the city going past. Inside something shifting in a way I had not expected this morning when I walked into that conference room. "I am listening," I said. And Edward Kellner started talking.

“Really? Tomorrow? That’s… that’s perfect. Thank you so much, Mrs. Anderson. I don’t know how to repay you for this.” She smiled warmly. “You don’t need to repay me. Just do your best. Show the world what you can do. That’s enough for me.” Not long after, I heard the sound of the outside doorbell ringing. I immediately stood up and looked at Mrs. Anderson. “Wait in my room,” Mrs. Anderson said. I grabbed my backpack and ran to her room, hiding under her desk. I didn’t know what happened or even who came, but my hunch must be Julian. I didn’t even want to turn on my phone. I was sure they were starting to realize I was leaving.

I walked to the bathroom and found nothing too. “Kayleen?” I called her. “Where is she?” Johanna asked when she came in too. “I don’t know.” I suddenly noticed the side of the television, a very thin rectangular line took my attention. There is a secret door there, I just remembered so sudden. I didn’t know she will find it. I walked there and touched the surface remembering how to open it. “Kayleen?” I called her once more but she didn’t answer. I pushed the wall and it opened like a normal door. Johanna also came inside with me. We both saw Kayleen there sitting calmly as if she is having no problem at all. No—she doesn’t seem to be Kayleen. It’s Shaira.

SLOANE “Please come with me, Mrs. Quinn. You don't have to see this.” Anderson comes up to me and places a jacket around my shoulders. Careful not to touch me. I recognize Ian's scent instantly. Shockingly, it calms me down instantly, making the jacket feel like a safety blanket. “Get her in the car.” His deep voice commands with that accent of his. “What is he going to do to him?” I ask. “Mrs. Quinn. Please.” Anderson says, but I refuse to bulge, and I know he won't touch me.

Three hours later, a tall handsome man walked up to us at the lounge. “Mr Edison, good morning! Good morning miss" he greeted, taking his seat. “Good morning Anderson. This is Agnes, I wanted you to meet her in person" Mr Edison introduced us. Anderson stared at me without emotions and turned his gaze back to Mr Edison.

Maybe that's how to open this door. So I twisted it from left to right and pull it off. In my surprise, it opened! I jumped off the ground while punching the wind, if someone sees me. They will probably think that I'm out of my mind. So it's better to stop it. I get inside of it, and I'm right! It's really a bathroom. Sweetie, don't expect that this bathroom is just a bathroom, it's not normal! How could a bathroom could be this luxurious?!

Anders yanks the door open. He smiles as he opens the door to reveal Laurel. “Granny,” he beams. He moves back for Granny to step inside. Clutching tightly to the caregiver with her, the old woman struggles to enter the house. She appears worse. Drawn and strained. A throbbing falls over Anders’ eyes. Slowly, his smile falls. “You look unwell, Granny.” Anders remarks. “Oh well! That's the new hello now?” Laurel grunts as she takes a step inside.

Camilla cried. A tear strayed down Mrs Anderson’s right cheeks. “No..no..Camilla..please don’t think like that..we love you..and we didn’t mean to use you to get what we want for the company.” She whispered. The door bell jangled and a maid came out to answer the door. “Good evening sir.” The young maid greeted as she opened up the door for Ace Clark to step into the house. Mr Anderson was surprised to see Ace Clark. “Good evening, Mr and Mrs Anderson.” Ace greeted them as he walked further into the house.
