After what felt like an eternity, they finally emerged, and Ms. Anderson clapped her hands sharply to get everyone’s attention. Mr. Bennett glanced around, his eyes lingering on the door as if he expected someone else to barge in any minute.

Mom screamed before rushing over to the table to bash her head against the corner. Everyone quickly held her back. Isaac's eyes were bloodshot as he glared at me. "Irene Sherman! Are you happy only if you completely destroy and tear the family apart like this?" Meanwhile, Mom kept trying to kill herself, and the rest of the family hurriedly brought her out of the room.

When she got to the door, before she could knock, she heard Matilda talking on the phone. Hearing her mention the chief, she decided to continue to listen and that was when she heard her mention Angela's name and Bryce's name. She was leaving the place the same way she had come in intending to alert Bryce about what she had heard but Matilda caught her. Mrs Anderson turned around and walked back in the direction she had come from. She came face to face with Matilda standing in front of her door.
