Interesting Bedtime Stories For Adults Mga Nobela at Kwento

We’ll go to the ball and find Maia,’ Troy says, smiling. Before bed, I tell the children their favourite bedtime story, which happens to be the story of Maia the Forest Princess. Afterwards, they ask for another fairy tale while Vivian and Troy chat in the next room. So I tell them the story I was told growing up about the land once having witches, orcs and sprites. Vivian I close and lock the door behind us, and Troy sits down in an armchair ‘It’s been a long time since I’ve stayed in a tavern,’ I tell Troy, standing on the bed and removing my boots. Just untying the laces and loosening them from around my feet makes a world of difference. I sit them against the wall and flex my toes.

"What story would you like to hear today?" Garret seemed to ponder for a moment before answering, "About Pinocchio?" Lyyana nodded and smiled. Lyyana then began to read a bedtime story from the book of 1001 bedtime stories. Lyyana was very good at reading stories; she played with her voice and tone, making Garret look so enthusiastic listening to the story she brought. Occasionally, Lyyana's storytelling was interrupted by Garret's questions. Without Lyyana realizing it, a man was recording Lyyana's activities and sending it to their superior.

Ember's POV I pulled the duvet up, tucking the kids in properly as I turned off the light and made to leave but Bella suddenly grabbed my little finger stopping me. "Mommy," she called. "What is it, baby?" I asked, settling back on her bed. "I don't think I'll fall asleep anytime soon. Can you read me a story?" She asked. "Stop acting like a baby Bella. Bed night stories are for babies and not soldiers," Atlas said, making me chuckle.

“I am not sleepy!”, the little girl grumpily said. Her father was trying to put her to sleep with a lullaby, yet failing at the same time. He let out a sigh and said, “ Zeru, you have to sleep, it is late and you have lessons early in the morning.” Zeru, “But father, I am not sleepy. How about you tell me a story instead, please.” Father, “You little troublemaker! Do you know your way out huh?! Okay, but promise you will sleep after the story and no excuse.”

"Mom? What's wrong? Why was someone yelling?" "Nothing, baby. Just some grown-up drama." I pulled him into a hug. "Everything's fine. How about that story now?" "Okay." But he looked worried. "Was that Dad's other wife? The mean one?" "Yes. But she's gone now and she's not coming back." "Good. I don't like her." He took my hand. "Can we read two stories tonight? I'm not very sleepy." "Two stories it is." We settled onto his bed, Lucas tucked against my side as I read about dragons and knights and adventures. His breathing gradually evened out, his eyes drooping, until finally he was asleep.

“I want to know….” He pecked my lips, smiling warmly. “There was a time when prophecies were told in tales. Are you willing to listen to a boring bedtime story?” I giggled, snuggling closer to his warmth, not needing a duvet to keep the cold away. “I’d like that.”

"I know you're awake, so get up." She groaned sleepily. "James, please, I fell asleep at three o'clock in the morning, so could you please shut up and let me sleep?" she asked, hugging the pillow beside her. "And it's not my fault you didn't go to bed early; we already talked about it, so don't give me that reason. Will you stand there, or will I drag you to the bathroom?" James threatened. She moaned once more. Damn, this jerk! Despite her love for him, there are times when she just wants to torture him. Does he not notice how sleepy I am?

“We’ll stay until you fall asleep.” Liam lies back down, his little hand reaching out to grab mine. I sit on his other side, smoothing the blanket over him. “Daddy, tell me a story,” he mumbles, his voice already heavy with sleep. Jason chuckles softly, leaning down. “Once upon a time, there was a brave little wolf who loved his Mommy and Daddy very much but was scared to sleep alone in his bed...” By the time Jason finishes the short tale, Liam is breathing evenly, lost in dreams. Jason glances at me, his voice barely above a whisper. “He’s out.”

To say that I’m screwed would be an understatement. I have another confession to make. I’m currently crouched and hiding under his bed. The very one that he’s occupying. It’s getting late now, almost two in the morning. It’s been raining outside for nearly an hour. Every time I think he’s asleep, he shifts and mutters something in his sleep.

"You don't remember me. And I'm too old for them, but... Can you tell me a bedtime story? About anything." His daddy didn't laugh, ridicule him or hang up. There was a strange sound from the other end of the line before the man spoke quietly. "... course I'll tell you a bedtime story. Anytime." (If he wasn't so young and overwhelmed, he would've noticed how much of a struggle each word as.) "... upon a time, there was a brave pilot, who crash-landed in the desert and met a strange but kind boy. ... boy came from a planet far away ..." (1)
