Reaching inside, he found a tuft of fur—orange and white. It was the same color as Rinko Morita’s hair. With a mix of wonder and disbelief, Takuto stared at the fragment of fur. What did this mean?

“When you say it like that, Aim, you make it seem like I don’t look devilishly handsome like my mate tells me.” I cracked a smile as I waved my hands around his head. “It’s in this weird in between stage that looks-” “Horrible.” Toya giggled and Jora slapped a hand to his chest. “You wound me, Toya.” He turned in his seat. “I’ll have you know I can just make the tiniest of ponytails.” All of us lost it. He scowled as he turned back. “What can I say? My mate asked for long hair. I’ll grow the long hair.”

Elle said quietly. “What?” I asked. “Your hair is purple now,” she informed me. I closed my eyes and turned my head up to the heavens, great. I turned to the mirror and when I opened my eyes, I saw how my head was the same shade of lavender as my fur was. Surely, I could dye it. But in a way, it was really beautiful.

Kaya’s POV I run the brush through my tangled locks sighing as I threw away another hairball. Perks of having kinky hair. Running a hand through it, I loosened all the curls, letting its fuzzy waves drop to my shoulders. My hair was usually straight but I had just washed it, and let’s just say it was about time I did. One more day and things could have gotten nasty.
