Invincible Attack Grounded Novels & Stories

"Two carriers in the middle. They're loaded. Avery, this isn't just an attack. It's a full invasion push." I swallowed hard, the reality hitting like a punch. "Lila's done playing. She's sending everything to crush Blackthorn before we can regroup. Kenji, what's your read on their weak spots from up here?" Kenji rumbled, the sound vibrating through his body into me. "The lead ships look top heavy. Good targets for dive strikes. But they have anti air batteries. We'll need ground support to pull this off. Damien, you thinking what I'm thinking?"

Jet POV The blast sent everyone backwards. Thankfully, Colt was able to tuck and roll. Landing it perfectly, he was back on all fours, ready to attack again if needed. Looking right in the middle where Adron was, there was just a massive black hole in the ground. All the grass was pushed out and flattened in a circle. Smoke was gently rising out of the hole. Everyone was starting to stir. Everyone expects Ivory.

The warrior collapsed, unconscious before he hit the ground. No sooner had the first man fallen than two more attacked simultaneously, one aiming a kick at Blaze's head while the other went for his midsection. Blaze ducked the kick, grabbed the second warrior's leg, and with a swift, brutal motion, flipped him over and slammed him into the ground. The impact knocked the air from the man's lungs, leaving him gasping for breath.

And considering her aggressive piloting style, was at a massive disadvantage. She leapt back with full thrusters as he slammed down onto the ground with his glaive. The vibrating edge caused the ground to split right where it landed, and caused a small rift to appear in the ground. A bunch of loose dirt was flung into the air from the sheer force as well. “You’re a little too sure of yourself,” she said through gritted teeth. “I think we Ravens’re gonna have to take you down a peg!”

Whether his army is strong or not, we will see when we get there. "My fellow warriors, I suggest that we launch a sneaky attack on that hunter and his team. We have all seen the evidence of Connor's heinous attacks, on the files Jerry pulled out from his research facilities. I say let us go and destroy each of those facilities. Who is with me?" Alpha Leslie Martinez bellows, his voice dripping with raw rage.

It bypassed the Golden Dome, moving through the very ground. Two miles away, on the southern ridge, Director Halloway stood on the deck of the GBCA primary carrier. He had been watching the 'Audit' with a look of clinical victory. He didn't see the wave until it hit the base of the ridge. The ground beneath the human fleet didn't just shake; it vanished. The shockwave leveled the GBCA forward base in three seconds. Armored crawlers were tossed into the air like scrap metal. The searchlights were snuffed out. The high-frequency jammers died. The blockade wasn't broken—it was deleted.

"But if we invite them down now, we're exposing the fact that our ground defenses are still recovering from the 'Inversion' surge." I stood by the floor-to-ceiling windows, watching the golden Vanguard ships run drills in the upper atmosphere. "We can’t stay a mystery forever, Leo. A mystery is just a target that hasn't been scoped yet. We need to define ourselves before they define us." "They're already here," Killian said, his voice dropping into a low, protective growl. I felt it a second later—a ripple in the "Null-Field" that didn't feel like a kinetic strike. It was a smooth, synchronized vibration, like a tuning fork hitting a crystal bowl.

A Deserted Atoll. The South Atlantic Ocean. Zero Hour + 45 Minutes. The world was entirely silent, save for the sound of waves crashing against black volcanic rock. The white Vanguard mech lay half-buried in the dark sand of the nameless island, its nanolaminate armor scorched and heavily dented from the violent crash landing. The right leg of the chassis was completely sheared off, and thick black smoke plumed from its exhausted zero-point thrusters. Inside the dark, tilted cockpit, Harper gasped, her eyes flying open.

Justice: "There goes half of the team," I say, watching as Unstoppable turns around to face QuickShot and me. Wasting no time, he pulls his arms to his sides and lowers his head. Now charging toward us, QuickShot and I jump out of the way, Unstoppable shooting right past. Skidding to a stop after missing us, he jumps into the air and tries to slam his hands onto me. Bringing up my shield in time, I manage to block the attack, but because of Unstoppable's strength, I'm forced onto one of my knees.

he whispered, his eyes fixed on the listing flagship, "you broke his spear." I looked toward the horizon, the Sol Invictus wasn't falling, but it was crippled, limping back toward the center of the fleet as the other golden ships scrambled to provide cover, Kaelen was still standing on the prow, but he was no longer glowing, he looked small, he looked cold.
