I argued, my face already curled up.
“No one will. You’re in a real fight, Aurora,” he said, his hands extending to help me up.
I reached for his hands, but before I could get up, he pulled back and I ended up falling back on the soft mat.
“You trust easily. Never trust a hand that dropped you before,” he instructed.
I nodded, determination curled up on my face.
“Now again,” he instructed.
I stood up, my eyes calmly studying his movements.
“Now, weight on your back foot,” he murmured. “Your knees bent. Watch my shoulder and not my hands. Hands lie.”
