Diandra shared, worrying about Iris. Iris is a good person and Diandra doesn't want anything to happen to her. Iris chuckled at Diandra's concern. "Don't worry Diandra. Eros promised me to find a way to send me back to my world. They can plot as much as they want. They cannot do anything to me. I will be gone from their hair soon anyway" Iris said with a smirk. Diandra stared at Iris with a perplexed expression. Iris shared about her world with the other woman when they were in the prison cell. Diandra never heard about any other word than their own. She doesn't know what to think about the world Iris claims she came from.

“Yes, the ‘Ones’ are based out of Lagos—in Nigeria.” Lizzy tweaked another guitar string. “I’ve been to Lagos a couple of times—wasn’t much fun, we had an armed escort stationed outside of our hotel rooms. The airline insisted it was unsafe, which was frustrating. I wanted to visit the Lekki Conservation Center in Lagos. What about the rest of the teams?” Slater handed them all a beer from the fridge. “MIT4 are in Europe. MIT5 are based in Southern Asia—Sri Lanka, the Philippines. MIT6 cover mainly Russia and China.”

"Look at the tattoo on your chest, Julian. Tell everyone what it means." He instinctively covered his chest, then, as if to prove a point, ripped open his shirt. The iris tattoo was still there, but it had been altered. A high-definition close-up appeared on the screen beside him. Where the heart of the flower should have been… was a small, sharp dagger. The Rosso family crest. A collective gasp swept through the pews. "No… that's not possible…" Julian stared down at his own chest, as if seeing the change for the very first time.

The Earth Year: 2077 Location: American Continent Meoni’s bare toes wiggled in the yellowish fine-grained dirt, her big brown eyes watching with interest and fascination as her delicate and once-clean feet were now coated in dust. She raised her gaze, feeling those warm UV rays generated from their planet’s star caressing her skin as she dared take a few steps forward through the sea of tall and dry-looking sprouts, her fingers reaching out to feel the texture of their stiff-looking leaves and stalks.

Light--actual light poured from between the cracks in the rock. I coughed and waved away the dust, rushing towards the stones that seemed to fit each other perfectly. Aidan followed suit, digging his fingers into the stone as we dislodged them. After four text-book sized rocks, the rest came crumbling down. We backed away, dirt skittering across our feet. "This--is Iridian." The shell-shocked words fell from Aidan's mouth in a whisper, his eyes turned upwards to where the source of light came from. A hole at the ceiling, just fifteen feet in the air, spewed sunlight and fresh air. It was impossible--we were hundreds of feet beneath the earth, in another world entirely.

cycled down, the viewports of the Lumina Spire revealed a surprising sight-not a dark, jagged Hive-world, but a twin planet. Floating in the center of the Swarm's silent ocean was a perfect gray-scale replica of Earth. It had the same continents, the same swirling cloud patterns, and even a ghostly, translucent version of the Lumina Ring. Yet there was no heat, no radio chatter, and no resonance. It was a World of Echoes.

He explained as his hands met and slowly break apart, gesturing the word, 'Display'. "Veneiah? Or Birth, huh." She whispered, "Did that sphere possibly made us invisible from the outside or from other entities outside this world?" It would make sense if yes, but it's likely impossible. Earth can withhold life due to the fact that it was located in the 'Goldilocks Zone,' making the Earth's water liquid, not icy or evaporating. Dale painted an abstract expression on his face. He too was curious after hearing such a bizarre question, but not a single stock of promising answer jammed his mind.

Elara asked, her voice trembling. "If the earth destroys anything that stays still?"

As he tentatively reached out to smooth over the side of his face, right next to his right eye, the gaps in his knowledge were becoming increasingly apparent. He had no idea of the feeling around his eyes was a normal, regular thing, felt by others just like him and shared between all the members of his species on this planet, Earth. Earth. He lived on a blue planet, containing much, much more water than land, the ratio increasing every single day, with nothing as he, a single individual, could do to stop it. The seas were getting vaster, wilder, more and more untamed, and trying their hardest to engulf the land that continued to elude their grasping and desperate clutches.
