As the moonlight fell on Ethan his grip got weaker and finally, Alice got herself free from Ethan and fell on the ground a few steps away from Ethan. She coughed terribly. He wiped the remaining red stains from his mouth with a swipe of his arm before disappearing within the smoke that blew from across the float.
