Novel & Cerita Iron Gates Book

The whole structure carried the posture of a place that had not merely been abandoned, but left to die slowly, with the elements as executioners. The iron gates complained bitterly under Rhett’s shove, their rusted hinges coughing out a sound too much like the groan of a long-buried thing disturbed in its grave. The opening they allowed was narrow, begrudging, and Savannah had to slip through sideways. Her boots crunched on wet gravel, and the smell hit her at once—moss, damp stone, and that sharp, metallic tang of oxidized iron.

The iron doors groaned open, and we stepped inside. The air hit us first… cold, metallic, tinged with oil. Torches burned low along the walls, throwing heavy shadows across the shelves. The space was wide, lined with shelves that rose from floor to ceiling. Crates and chests filled the middle, ledgers stacked on narrow tables. At first glance, everything looked in order. I stood still, nostrils flaring. Kira stirred instantly. The metallic scent was wrong. It wasn't just gold or silver, something sharper, bitter was hiding beneath

My fingers tremble as I twist harder, forcing it to turn. A soft click echoes in the night. I swallow the tightness in my throat and begin unwinding the silver chains, careful not to let them graze my skin. The metal groans softly as I drag them aside, leaving a dull, stinging sensation in my fingertips. Beneath me, the iron doors stand between me and my sister. I push and pull as hard as I can. The iron door creaks as it opens, the sound slicing through the chaos behind me. My breath catches, but when I glance back, the guards are still fixated on the fire, their shouts drowning out the noise.

We passed the familiar boundaries of the property, pushing further than I’d ever been, until the path narrowed and the trees clustered so thickly that the light began to dapple, then fade. Then, between two towering, ancient laurel hedges, nearly swallowed by a cascade of green ivy, there was a sliver of iron gate. It was ornate, wrought with forgotten flourishes, its surface dulled by time and weather. Adam reached for it without hesitation—like muscle memory, his fingers finding the latch in the dense foliage as if guided by an invisible thread. A quiet click. The sound was surprisingly loud in the sudden hush, like a door closing on one world and opening onto another.

She was determined to get out of this prison and find her way back home. Ivy came up with a plan. She used her hairpin to crack the locks on the chain. Thankfully, Mr Jones Vones had just chained one of her hands inside the cage. She tried and it cracked open. She attempted to crack the cage's lock and it opened. Next was the door. She was almost unlockinh it when the door flew right open.

he asked, his eyes locked on mine. I nodded, a smile spreading across my face. The drive wasn’t very long before Ben turned from the road onto a driveway. As Ben drove up the long, winding driveway, I noticed a pair of imposing wrought iron gates flanking the entrance. These gates were adorned with intricate detailing, such as scrolls, flowers, and family crests, and were topped with sharp finials. The gates were painted a dark, classic black and were flanked by stone pillars and ornate lampposts.

Didn't ask a single question. Second gate. The iron grating lifted with a shriek of rusted metal, the sharp tang bleeding into the air. Third gate. Thick oak planks banded with iron. It swung open on a gust of cold air that carried the chill seeping from the stone walls. The living room.

Senna The gate made a quiet, old sound when it opened. That was the first thing. I walked through the big gates behind Caius. My hands felt cold, even though the sun was warm on my skin. This was the Ironblood compound. Just like he said. I looked hard at everything, like I always do. It’s how I work. It’s how I keep things straight in my head. The buildings were made of rough-cut stone, solid and old. Smoke curled from a few chimneys. It smelled like woodsmoke and something else... something wild and green, like deep forest. My eyes scanned every corner.

It makes the fall harder. The iron gates of Brown-Forge Estate appear through the trees. The stones are a deep, dark crimson, cut from the mountain quarries nearby. They look like dried blood. Two guards stand at the checkpoint, their black tactical vests tight against their chests, their spears held loosely in their hands. I stop ten paces from the gate. The gravel beneath my feet is cold. The guard on the left blinks, his eyes widening as he recognizes my face. He drops the tip of his spear, a nasty, mocking sneer twisting his upper lip.

549’s POV The Iron Howl Citadel was nothing like I expected. I peeped through the window at the looming structure ahead, and my breath caught in my throat. The citadel wasn’t just silver—it was forged. Sheets of darkened metal fused together, rising into jagged spires that clawed at the sky. The walls weren’t smooth; they were ridged and uneven. Massive gates stood at the entrance, carved with warped wolf sigils—elongated jaws, too many teeth, eyes hollowed into black pits.
