I snap. Nayel narrows his eyes, "I am far too lenient with everyone here but especially you. I'm your boss Maria. You have to do as I say, that is your job description. I never make you work overtime or on weekends even though I can and probably should. Just look at the type of bosses people your age work for and here you are complaining about having to stay an hour longer, you are so ungrateful" He sneers at me. "Maybe I would enjoy working more and staying later if this workplace environment wasn't so toxic and lowkey bordering on harassment" I blurt out before I could stop myself.

Your first meeting today is by 10:00 Am, I hope you don’t lose track of time, B.O.S.S…” I let out firmly, stressing the word Boss just to annoy him before turning to leave his damn office. I told you I would find more ways to annoy him, didn’t I? Yeah, I know he still bosses me around and hurts my feelings at every given opportunity, but I still retaliated, right?

I heard him laugh mockingly. I lifted my gaze to see him raising an eyebrow. “Your boss says you’re good at your job, huh.” He looked me over from head to toe and then smirked. “Maybe the reason he says you’re good is because you’re… doing something else…” he said suggestively.

" He responded, trying to frustrate her. "You're just so useless and good for nothing, always coming late. Am I the cause of your problems? "No sir, that's not it." She responded calmly, trying as much as possible not to let his words get to her. Her boss had always frustrated her, ever since he tried to ask her out and she refused him countlessly. There was a day he also tried to kiss her while they were taking stocks in the store room, late at night. She pushed him away and ran away, making him hit his head and have a bruise. That was the beginning of her nightmare. He made sure he used every opportunity he had to make life at work unbearable for her.

I was stubborn since childhood. "Then I think we need to take you forcefully. " He smirked. I huffed in annoyance. If he is that irritating, I wonder what a piece of work his boss would be! Didn't I just say interesting? Well interesting and irritating both! "Look it's not that I don't want to go with you. I just need to go to office. If I lose the job, someone will kill me. Believe me, I will get a tsunami. Try to understand. If I lose the job, what will I eat then??" I think it was fun to irritate him.
