I didn’t want to know. I couldn’t.
“You can fight… or you can die,” he finished, his voice devoid of pity.
“Please!” I begged, tears streaming down my face. “Stop this! I’m not ready!”
“Your wolf is inside you, Scarlet,” he said firmly.
“Find it. It’s the only thing that can save you.”
I turned back to Tobias, my legs trembling as I stepped back. He was moving now, his powerful form closing the distance between us, his growls growing louder, more menacing.
