My eyes trail to the nearby stream and I get up on my feet, leaving Ares on the grassy patch to dream away about his lady loves. Branches and twigs crunch under my feet as I make my way over to the steady stream. And as I kneel on one knee, I look up at the pale orb that hangs in the sky. The song of birds, the cool breeze, the dancing leaves, the scent of nature, the shining sun and the full tree braches that provide shade, allowing just enough sunlight to be comfortable. Nature has always been the most beautiful thing to me. Nothing comes close. I probably do come close to nature in terms of beauty but I must admit that I would still crown nature the winner if it came down to a competition.
